Moving from pick 1 to pick 2

What's a reasonable ask for the step down? I'm still rebuilding and more picks/players may be better than Barkely.
Pick 13? (figure this will be a hell no from most)
Players? (see owner of pick 2's roster below)
RB: Gurley, Ingram, Breida, Mckinnon
WR: Funch, KCole, Lockett, RMatt
TE: Kroft, Rudolph, Butt

You'll get the most during/right before the draft. It depends what kind of young players/other picks he has. I'm contemplating the samething in one league. I'll definitely want his 2 and his '19 1st included though. The gap between Barkley and Guice is pretty significant on trade value right now.

I don't really see anything that would motivate me to move the 1.01, unless you're adding something to your side and getting Gurley.

Definitely not pick 13. There's nothing on his roster that jumps out. He doesn't have another 1st like 1.4-6? Does he have 2 2019 1sts?

No one there is worth the step down from Barkley save obviously Gurley and Ingram but with Ingram's age you don't want him as a rebuilder

Yeah unless Gurley is involved here or he gives you solid 2019 and 2020 picks on top I'd just stick with Barkley. Then again, which of your rosters is this for?

Hold the 1.01, you should be able to get much better than a 2nd. I'd want at least 3 1sts.

So don't put any offers out, just let it be known a few days before the draft that you are making the pick available. Then let everyone else set the value they're willing to pay, if you get something rediculous accept it, if you get something close counter, or just stay put and take Saquon if you don't get an offer you like.

Forum wisdom says yes but the more I read, the more I'm thinking there's a lot of RBs in this class. Time will tell.

I’ll probably get killed for this, but in a rebuild, I think you could make a decent case for 1.02 plus Funch and McKinnon for the 1.01. I think I’d still want to wait and see where Barkley and Guice go in the draft and where McKinnon goes in free agency. If the latter two wind up in good situations, that might be a deal worth pursuing. I’m admittedly higher than most on Funch, though, so take my advice with a grain of salt, I guess.
