1.02 or 1.09 + 1.12?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

1.02 or 1.09 + 1.12?

Postby freddog97 » Thu Feb 01, 2018 1:28 pm

I had an owner offer me the 1.09 + 1.12 for my 1.02. I told him that it wasn't close for me. He got all upset and said the deal was very close...

Am I crazy ? or is that offer actually close??

Hes just mad you didn't accept imo. I think its a fair deal but I would've declined too! Value is on 1.02 side for sure

EDIT: To clarify what i mean by fair deal, Its a fair opening offer and could see some accepting but for me i would take the 1.02 easily but not the worst 1.02 offer ive seen

1.02 very easily. Not remotely close. I wouldn't even bother to counter if that was offered to me for the 1.02.

The classic 4 quarters for a dollar... well, in this case 2 but you get the point. 2 late firsts do not hold the value of the 1.01. Not close.

I traded 1.02 for 1.08 1.09 2.08 gio and kittle. I own mixon so gio holds a little more value to me. It was really hard for me to do it and I do have a little regret doing it but the longer you hold more in likely the more you will get for it

It is not the 1.01 but the 1.02. Not sure if that was a typo or you misread the pick?

In a superflex league, in a year where 4-5 QBs could be taken in the 1st round of rookie drafts - I think it is closer than many think - even if it is not close enough (for me) to take as is. Although if a team had limited rookie picks, and was looking to make multiple shots in a deep draft then I could not blame them for doing this deal.

1.02 pretty easily

I traded the 1.8, 1.9, and 2.6 for the 1.3 last year, I knew the 1.2 owner was taking CMC and the 1.3 would be Corey Davis so I valued that pick like the actual 1.2

1.02. Plus, no one should get angry when their offer is refused. There is a lot of subjectivity to this.
