2 Trade Offers for Landry - Which one

Postby joekuhns11 » Thu Feb 01, 2018 8:07 am

Team #2 in signature
We start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1 Flex (QB/RB/WR)

I have Brees as my starter but nothing as a backup, and Brees isn't exactly young.

Offer #1
I give: Jarvis Landry
I get: Patrick Mahomes, Ameer Abdullah

Offer #2
I give: Jarvis Landry
I get: 1.06

I'm kind of leaning towards no on both of them, but wanted other opinions.
Team #1 (Finished 2nd)
QB - Watson
RB - Hall, Jacobs, Mixon
WR - Tyreek, Jefferson, Chase, Jayden Reed, Cooper
TE - Goedert, Kmet
2024 Picks: 1.05, 1.10, 2.01

Team #2 (Finished 1st)
QB - Tua, Pickett
RB - Hall, Barkley, K. Walker, James Cook
WR - Chase, D. Smith, D. Adams, Hopkins, Jameson Williams
TE - Laporta
2024 Picks: None

The first offer is ridiculous. The second is just not very good, but much, much better. No to both. What other qb's does the owner with 1.6 have?

Neither. Not even close. Heck, not even both together in a 1QB league

Use your 2nd round pick on a QB to take your pick of the bunch. It'd be going QB a little early, but would fix your roster the easiest

2022: 1-8
Finishes: 6th, 6th, 1st, 5th, 6th, 9th
QB: Lamar Jackson, Purdy
RB: Bijan, Dobbins, Achane, Charbonnet, Algier, McBride, waiver trash
WR: JSN, QJ, Addison, Dotson, Skyy Moore, Jameson Williams, Hyatt, T Dell, Boutte, Skowronek, Quez Watkins, Greg Dortch, waiver trash
TE: Hockenson, F Monroe, Juwan, Musgrave

picks-
2024- 1,1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3,4,5,5
2025 1,1,1,2,3,4,5

team 2- 12 team SF, .5PPR, .5TE boost, 1QB, 1SF, 2 RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex
2022: 8-1

That first offer of Mahommes vs Landry is in favor of the Landry side, but has the potential to be a landslide win for the Mahommes side a year from now if he plays well. It comes down to whether you believe in Pat or not, but I'd be tempted if I could get something I liked more than Abdullah thrown in

It being a superflex league obviously changes things, and I doubt many people notices the "1 flex (QB/RB/WR)" part at the end of your league settings comment.
DLF HOF League | 16 Team 1PPR 1QB-2WR-2RB-1TE-2FL:

I wouldn't see Landry out right for a pick any lower than 1.04. If you're looking for a qb I'd look more at trading DT88 for one

In Superflex, I'd be tempted by the first offer, see if you can swap Abdullah with rb or wr with more upside
10Team PPR-QB/RB/WR/WR/TE/PK/flex-DT/DE/DE/LB/LB/LB/CB/CB/S/S/flex

you should definitely do deal 1 but i also would try for a player you like rather than abdullah

having brees and only brees in a superflex is insanity to me
team 1
12 team, 1 pt for 4 rec, 0.1 per rush
1qb, 3 rb, 4 wr, te, k, 4 idp
Dak , Herbert
Achane, Breece Hall, KW3Kyren,Ford, Miller, Spiller, z evans, singletary
J Jefferson, Diggs, DK, D Smith Puka, C Watson, E Moore
Njoku , HH, Engram

2024 picks
1,3,4,5,5,6,7 (all late mostly)

team 2
12 team .5ppr
qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, te, flx,flx,
Fields, Dak
Ford,Mixon, Javonte, Mostert, Chubb, Spears
Hopkins, Evans, g Wilson Mingo, shaheed, Jamo
Kelce,McBride, Chig,

1,2,3,3,5

team 3
14 team sf, even scoring idp to offense (rb scores highly too)
Josh Allen, A Rich, Foles, Rudolph
Bijan, Charbs, Spears, Ebner
J Williams, G Wilson, C Watson, Flowers, J Addison, Tillman
Kincaid, Kolar, Ruckert, Fergeson

Kenny Clark, josh allen, jaelen phillips, felix a-u and a bunch of fluff and rookie fliers at idp

If you could get Abdullah swapped for piece that actually has some value, trade 1 wouldn’t be bad. But you have to like Mahomes.
8 team SUPERFLEX, PPR, .2 PPC, 1.5PPR for TEs, 5 point passing TDs, IDP
Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX, 1 SF, 1 K

QB- Rodgers, Wentz,
RB- DJ, Barkley, Kamara, Cook, Mixon, Jamaal Williams, Aaron Jones, Ekeler, Lindsay, Powell
WR- AB, OBJ, Nuk, Michael Thomas, Adams, Watkins, Josh Gordon, Dante Pettis, Doctson, Tyrell, Josh Reynolds
TE- Zach Ertz, Jordan Reed, Hunter Henry, Shaheen
DL- Watt, Donald, Campbell, Griffen, Graham, Irving
LB- Kuechly, Lee, Kwon, Martinez, Hicks, Eric Kendricks, Edmunds, Preston Brown, Hitchens

I noticed that it was a superflex, but there are other, more proven QBs that can be done in this deal instead of Mahomes.
