Big trade. Completed.

Postby Tyrober » Sat Jan 27, 2018 2:42 am

12 team PPR Superflex.
.5PPR for RBs
1 for WR
1.5 for TE
Won it all last year and have a solid offer sitting in my inbox. I love AJ Green but also want to sell before it’s to late.

I traded Goff for Green midway through the season and I’m sure that’ll haunt me in a few years but wanted to win it all while I could and ended up winning the championship so can’t complain to much

Have an offer for my Green for Mixon + Parker
I’m still waiting on the Parker breakout but it looks like Landry could be moving on so that’s gotts help right? Mixon looks like he could be legit but obviously needs a little help getting there. Good trade or no?

Went back and forth a few times but eventually ended up giving Green + 19 3rd + 4th for Mixon Parker 19 2nd. Happy with it and gives me a little extra fuel for a QB and don’t feel the need to add another young RB prospect so soon.

Mixon is a good young player and you would be getting value for AJG. I do feel that WR currently considered top 10 should fetch a little more and that this shifts some strength away from your WR core while beefing up your RBs. Any chance you could get a pick thrown in? It's a fair deal and there is a chance Parker fully develops, making this a win for you.

It’s pretty close. I’d see if I could get something else added or a better piece than Parker but solid offer as is.

Good value I think for Green, but Parker could be a throw in that doesn't do much or he could start coming on, thats tough. I think I would prefer a different piece over Parker but looking at your team Zeke and Mixon sure would be nice!

Pretty easy pass for me honestly. The tiered PPR that devalues RBs makes it even easier. I'm not a big Parker believer, so it's AJG easily for me

Tough one. I am a Parker believer (just traded for him today actually in one league). Mixon should in theory be better this year with Hill gone. Both are young and would be solid compliments to your team.

I do like AJG, but I just don’t know how much top ten production he has left. Cinci certainly has done much to help him.

This trade could go either way, but I normally side with youth when it’s pretty close.

Parker is the issue for me. Great WR's are more fearless, brash and willing to go all out in your face. I think he is skilled but soft.

AJG > Mixon (still unproven)

So bottom line I think you need a better add on piece than Parker. Plus the last few years have not had many true elite WR's rookies enter the league to replace guys like AJG but the rb rookie class continues to be strong.

I voted for green, but i can understand why you may consider this trade with your team

I wish Mixon or Parker had shown a tad bit more. Feel like the value is solid and probably won’t be able to get it next year but also want to win while I can so it makes it tough

Mixon and Green should be pretty close in value. Even though I'm not a big fan of Parker, I think he breaks the tie.

I am making that trade and not looking back. I think the time for trading away AJG for top value has passed.

Completed. Got a Mixon + Parker + 19 2nd coming my way for Green + 3rd + 4th. He had the 1.01 this year but basically added Green Odell and Barkley to his team so it’ll a mid 2nd at best.

Easily AJG for me. You're giving up a top 10 WR for 2 very risky players. I think it is much more likely that Mixon and Parker lose value than gain any next season.
12 Team. Roster 22, 4 TS. PPR, TE Prem (1.75). Start 1 QB, 5 flex (2 RB Max), 1 Def, 1 K
QB P. Mahomes, J. Goff, B Zappe (TS)
RB S. Barkley, N. Chubb, R. Stevenson, T. Pollard, J. Cook, K. Herbert, A. Mattison, E. Mitchell
WR AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, C. Kupp, A. Cooper, D. Hopkins, DJ Moore, B. Aiyuk, R. Doubs, K. Boutte (TS), C. Tillman (TS), M. Wilson (TS)
TE M. Andrews
Def Patriots, Ravens

Definitely a scenario that could happen. Felt that if Mixon hits and it’s a sizeable if he could pass AJG in ADP. Didn’t want to get Juliod either and be stuck with a green and unable to get value. I would have been a contender and it wouldn’t have been awful but still don’t like being stuck with guys.

Also feel that this lets me focus on adding a QB for he next couple of years after Brady retires. Not a steal but happy with it

AJG. Like him slightly more than Mixon. I would prefer Parker and the 2nd be swapped for something else.
