Rank your Top 10 college RBs coming into the NFL

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Rank your Top 10 college RBs coming into the NFL

Postby Golly Dagger » Mon Jan 22, 2018 7:25 pm

Hey y'all, so I've been scouting lately for my teams while also writing Mock Drafts for 2 of my Dynasty Leagues, and while I'm also interested in hearing your opinions on at least the top 10 backs heading into the draft, I'd love to see how you rank them as well.

So, if you'd like, please share your top 10 backs heading into the NFL, and why you love them (optional).

I'll share mine as well, bare with me as most of what I've gathered is from the eye test (I don't watch a ton of college ball):

1. Barkley - duh.
2. Guice - seems to have a great all around skill set.
3. Chubb - his speed and power seem pretty raw despite the knee injury. He looks like an NFL ready back.
4. Michel - seems extremely versatile, size is questionable.
5. Kerryon Johnson - reminds me of a lightweight David Johnson, not sure he is that, but he looks good.
6. Penny - awkward runner but his numbers are eye popping, as is the footage (albeit small school).
7. Jones - anybody else see Jamaal Charles?
8. Freeman - big ol' bruiser, heavy workload already though.
9. Adams - I really love watching him run, reminds me of DeMarco Murray. Benefitted from great O-line?
10. Ballage - looks like he'd be a featured back at next level; big, strong, fast, and exciting, but small school again.

Appreciate whatever feedback you wanna feed. Thanks in advance.

I actually mostly agree with your rankings. I'd have Jaylen Samuels in there, in place of Adams. I don't see Adams doing anything in the NFL barring a perfect storm.
