Trade Howard for Marvin Jones +

I've been looking to move Jordan Howard to try and get in to the front end of the upcoming rookie draft, but the other league mates picking early aren't very interested. I have the 1.01 and will very likely keep it and grab Barkley. I'd really like to grab one of the QB's that will be available in the middle of the 1st. 2 people in the league hold 6 of the 1st round picks between them. I'm having trouble valuing Howard and Jones as I think there is uncertainty with how depth on their teams will impact their production moving forward (Cohen/Tate/Golladay)
Jones owner told me he won't look at any trades that value jones less than a first.
I put Howard's value in the 1.2-1.4 range

I'm thinking about offering him Howard for Marvin Jones and the 2018 1.06 (he also has the 1.07 & 1.10)

I only have 2 picks in 2018 (1.01 & a mid 5th)
My team in sig.

Any thoughts/insight would be appreciated

If you can get Jones and the 1.06 (especially in a SF), I'd do it. Assuming you're able to get one of the top QBs with that pick, it'll be great value in my opinion. And if not, you're probably going to get a player that would normally be the 1.03 in regular leagues...so still great value.

I would need more than Marvin Jones + 1.06 to sell Jordan Howard. I'm not sure why you're targeting Jones to being with when he would likely be your WR4 or WR5. If you want the 1.06, I'd try offering Doug Baldwin straight up for the 1.06.

Agreed. Why are you even looking to move him? If the Bears can get a halfass decent offense going next season, he's gonna feed.

This isn't the time to sell Howard. He's very talented, wait for his talent to shine and his value to sky rocket.

I’m not opposed to selling Howard and think you can still get good value for him now but am also confused why Marvin Jones needs to be part of the deal especially if the owner (over)values him.

I think I’m trying too hard to trade in to the 1st round and looking for a partner with a pick in the first and a decent asset to try and trade for. The trade was instantly declined with no response, which doesn’t surprise me. My league tends to operate on the assumption everyone on their roster is worth multiple firsts, but yours aren’t worth crap. Thanks for the insight. I’m going to stand pat and just wait for the right opportunity.

Why are people trying to sell Howard for cheap? 2 years in, 2 1000+ yard seasons, 2 RB1 level production years, while playing on a sharty team where opposing teams know that he's the only weapon yet they can't stop him. Wait until he gets a good coach with a more experienced QB and a WR or 2. If you're gonna sell him don't give him away. His value should be with Fournette's. Would you sell Fournette for the 1.06 and a WR3/4?
