Where to improve my roster

I finished second last year. The team I am chasing is loaded. Any thoughts on where I should try to improve or just let things alone.

I'd look to sell high on Alex Smith ASAP. Obviously he will have value regardless in 2QB, but I don't think Smith will come anywhere close to his 2017 production.

If you sell Smith, make sure you get another starting QB in return because you will need at least 3 in a 2QB league. I'd probably look at upgrading some of your depth at WR. Your first 3 are great, but not sure about the rest. Also, it would help if you added first names (or at least first initial) for some of the players listed so we know who they are. You have a Jones listed on your WR list, but I'm assuming it's not Julio.

Yea, I wasn't sure. The way you had them listed was confusing and I wasn't sure who Jones was. If anything, you can always try packaging some of your end of bench depth and upgrade at different positions.

That offer is not close.

The guy that has pick 1:1 really needs RB help.

I figured two Rbs and a Wr would be worth more to him than one Rb.
Barkley is great but he could be the next great Penn State Rb to under achieve in the NFL

What do you think it is going to take to make the move up to 1:1?

You could try that offer but I doubt it gets accepted. If he needs RB help he might just want to draft Barkley himself.

Garcon adds no value (he'll be 32). 2.04 doesn't add much. So its basically Barkley for Hyde+Duke. You'd need to add a high first or equivalent (Cook).

I think Garcons value will only go up in Shanahans Offense with Garoppolo. I understand it will only be for a few years. Hopefully he sees the same value.

Of course Garcon's value will increase, but I doubt to more than an early 2nd at most given that he will be 32 this coming season, and the fact that SF could still add a FA WR or draft a rookie. I think Matt Ryan + TY Hilton would be a fair offer for 1.01 in a 2QB format.

I would probably try and trade Julio or Gronk first as I think the time is coming up where people are still viewing them as elite assets. Gronk/Julio + a lesser piece that he likes might get him thinking. Top it off with a 2nd or something if he thinks you are close??
