This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Running back help

Postby Suhmdog » Wed Jan 17, 2018 10:17 am

Hey guys obviously I need running back help I'm pretty stacked at wide receiver and I don't have a first-round pick my second round pick is towards the back end. Any suggestions on trades with one of my receivers to go out and get a young running back or draft picks. Thanks as always

Now is not a good time to sell Cooper, TY, and probably not ARob. I’d hold those unless you find an owner still valuing them at last year’s prices. I would shop Evans. His value seems as high as ever to a lot so you could likely get a very good RB and possibly more in return.

I usually don’t support trades like this but with your depth at WR Jpall may be on to something.

Wow. Yeah. Normally no, but you're so misbalanced and have power at WR it would actually be ok. Maybe do Mike Evans for Zeke or Gurley? Perhaps either Evans or OBJ for Barkely (1.1) + something? RB2?

I would definitely try to move Evans for a RB1 before offering up OBJ.

I would too but I think Evans is a tough sell right about now.

Don't move OBJ for Zeke unless you're getting something else on top.

Wait until after the NFL draft before going after RBs so you have a better idea of the landscape - unless you can get what you feel is a discount on a player that you dont feel will be hurt much by the draft.

I think you also posted the bell Evans trade??? I like the idea of moving Evans. I wouldn’t move obj! Evans should be the best sell for your team compared to ty Cooper or Arob.

I'm good with that. I just don't think Zeke is worth trading for until he has an offseason and season that's completely clean of incidents. He's already in severe hot water for incidents from what, '17 and '16. How many games does he get for a similar incident? That versus OBJ is no contest to me, even w/the QB, OL and coaching issues in NY.

OBJ missed more games than Zeke...doesn’t matter the reason. I have Zeke, OBJ and Evans and I would sell Evans if anything. Would try to package for 1.01 (Barkley) but you could get a great existing RB regardless.
