Julio Offer (POLL)

Postby Golly Dagger » Wed Jan 17, 2018 8:36 am

For Team 1 in Sig

Been offered DaVante Parker, 1.8, 1.9, and a 2019 first for Julio/2.9/Abdullah. The 2019 first has a high probability of being 1.01-1.02 as the team it belongs to just blew up their roster and have begun their rebuild. Of course, anything can happen between now and then. For some perspective as to why I seek advice, I like Parker a lot despite his injury struggles, and I basically view Abdullah as nearly worthless at this point. Thank you in advance.

For a clearer view:

He receives: Julio, 2.9, Abdullah

I'd receive: Parker, 1.8, 1.9, 2019 First (high)
Team 1:
Fantasy Slams (est. 2015) - Golly Dagger
1st season: 7-7 (Missed playoffs)
2nd season: 7-6 (1st rd exit)
3rd season: 6-7 (Missed playoffs)
4th season: 11-2 (League Champ)
5th season: 9-4 (1st rd exit)

.5 PPR, 6pt TD, 4pt TD Pass, 25 roster, 14 team (6 Playoffs), 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2 Flex (RB/WR/TE), 1LB, 1DL, 1DB, 1 Flex IDP:

QB: Jackson, Darnold
RB: Mixon, Gurley, Guice
WR: Cooper, Golladay, Metcalf, Campbell, Boykin, Isabella, Ross, Dulin
TE: Kittle, I. Thomas
DL: J. Bosa
LB: Darius Leonard, Barrett, Esche
DB: Collins

Draft capital: 1.02, 1.06, 4.12, 5.04, 6.04, 7.04, 7.09

The 2019 1st being projected so early is the only thing that would make me lean towards that side. However, if you make this trade, you're basically going into a mini-rebuild and probably won't be competing next year.

Not terrible value overall, but I would prefer to receive at least one premium piece if you are trading away Julio. 1.08 and 1.09 are just too risky.

Only way I do it is if you draft well and that 3rd pick is high

My gameplan is to likely sell these picks one way or another, our league tends to get rookie fever real bad and people overpay. I'm leaning towards accepting this based off the polls/viewpoints, so thanks all who have participated with their commentary thus far.

Your team seems be a constant .500 that may or not make playoffs as is and I don't see it making a better push. Considering Julio age, I'd strongly consider getting some assets to improve for the future.

I'm not high on Parker and shallow roster leagues put a premium on elite production but this seems like a fair offer. Seems like you have a plan to implement as well.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..
