Too Steep for Zeke?

Too Steep for Zeke?

Postby LaFleur42 » Wed Jan 17, 2018 5:23 am

So I have acquired many 1sts for this upcoming draft for team 3. I threw out on the message boards that I was shopping around the 1.4 for a solid player. I received several lovely offers such as:

Alshon for 1.4/Sheehan
Alshon for 1.4/Hooper
Ingram/White for 1.4
Lamar/2.1 for 1.4
Marvin Jones for 1.4

While its obvious that I was wanting to go young, this is what happens I guess when I throw out the "solid player" words. With that said, I did receive a somewhat realistic offer but think it might be a tad steep.

Give: Michael Thomas and 1.4
Receive: Zeke, Lockett, and 2.2

If Lockett was a little better, this might be a different story. Do you think its a reasonable offer or should I throw a counter and change the 1.4 to say the 1.8 or later? The guy also has Davis and Cooper at WR.
Thanks

To me this is fair value for Zeke, as an owner of him in a league I would reject the MT and the 1.8 and this is the kind of offer it would take to get him from me

I think it is a fair offer. A bit on the Mt side, but like the other poster said..1.8 will not get it done. On the other side, you could just keep MT and use those picks on RBS.

Seeing as you only need to start 1RB and this is full PPR, I don't think I personally would do that deal though it is fairly close.

I would see about moving 1.08 & 1.09 for the 1.05 to have three picks in a row and grab the top three players after Barkley/Guice or making a run at the 1.01 to grab Barkley.
Too many teams to list here...

I think that team is several years away from competing...so, I would keep the potentially elite WR, since they typically have a longer shelf life than RBs. Make all of those picks you have and if a few hit, you will be ready to compete in a few years.

If you can do MT and 1.08, I think it would be much closer. However, if this is for your Team 3, I'd keep MT and the picks because you have a lot of work to do with that team and the more pieces you have, the better.

In a vacuum I would take Zeke side, with your team I would take the MT side. MT is a stud for sure
