Saquon to Cleveland...

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I don't see Barkley making it past Indy at #3; Irsay likes shiny things more than prudent decisions, and Barkley will bring enthusiasm to a fanbase reeling from the loss of its franchise player. CLE would be better served drafting an OL to protect their QB investment anyway, Joe Thomas may be done.

lol. They should stop trying. They keep throwing away a first round draft pick every year, when that pick could be used on a player they'll keep more than a year. Fill the other holes, get a QB as a stopgap or just keep using Kizer for all it matters, and once you have an ok team again; then draft your "franchise" guy

^^^ They should have done this years ago and with all that extra first round talent they wouldn't be in this predicament year after year

The only thing that would scare me about Barkley going to the Browns is that their management of all things football is a mess, completely devoid of rational thought, and they refuse to play to their strengths. Then again they did support TRich's only quality year when he was their focal point.

With a strong O-line, RB, and competent defense, they should follow Jacksonville's lead from this year if they draft Barkley. Jags led the league in rushing attempts while throwing the ball 11th fewest. Talk about mismanagement, the Browns meanwhile threw the ball 9th most and ran the ball 5th fewest. Some of that is game script, but also illustrates how incompetent the browns management is from top down.

thank you. when do they give up trying to pick talent, when they prove over and over they can't at the position. take a skill player or an edge rusher, sign Smith or Cousins (which I would personally hate - but makes sense if you are the Browns. Cousins, Gordon, Njoku, Saquon and suddenly there is an appearance of an offense.

The good news is that if Cleveland does take Barkley and he does bust then we'll know that the Browns are for real cursed.

I'm gonna go ahead and say Tampa Bay fits this mold.
Could happen, CLE needs a QB and more pieces so 1.04 is a crap shoot. The worry for me is CLE has been beaten down so much by the nation and they want to make a splash with the fan base and take the most electric player in a decade. Honestly they need that...if they do pass and fill another need, TB would be a great place for Barq to drop to. Regardless he will transform one of 32 NFL teams future for years to come. I have 1.01 and really don’t care where he gets taken

Well the blame for Kizers treatment falls solely on Hue Jackson not Sashi Brown.

Don’t worry too much. New GM, Gordon coming around, O-Line will get better. They will draft a QB... and who knows maybe Gore retires and Barkeley pairs up with Luck

I doubt saquon will be available at 4. New Gm said he will take the best player available. That means if browns draft a QBwith the 1.01 giants will probably draft Barkley. The only option for the browns to have Barkley is to find a QB in free agency and draft Barkley at 1.01
