Trade Poll-Blockbuster

Postby Bradycross888 » Mon Jan 15, 2018 12:30 pm

So, a buddy of mine and constant trade partner for the league we are in posted this same exact poll last week however, I'm interested to see if the way my team is constructed (youth, picks) has any affect on the way the poll results come in.

With that in mind, I am wondering if you were me, would you trade the 1.03, 1.04, and 1.09 for Keenan Allen, Pierre Garcon, and a late 2019 1st?

Thanks as always everybody

Haha that's part of my dilemma, I want to trade at least a pick or two for a younger WR but am going to have a hard time parting with more than 1 of the first 4 picks. I've been in talks with the Tyreek Hill owner and Davonte Adams owners, who will both be heading into massive rebuilds but unfortunately they're the owners who are more last second with their research so no progress has been made.

I would not do that deal. Those picks should net a better haul in a few months.

I would hold all your picks, I did the same thing with my team in sig and if it wasn't for some key players being injured I would have done a lot better.

Picks have more value imo. You probably could flip the 1.04+1.09 for a very solid WR and still have the 1.03 to draft with. I think you are selling yourself short.

I really like Keenan, and he would look good on your squad, especially after you add 2 young RBs. But I also think the point of every other post is the value is with the picks because they are the assets most likely to appreciate. That same trade, or something better, still will be available the week or 2 before your rookie draft. Everyone in your league will have had time to imagine what they could do with them. We're simply advising a little patience.

I voted to keep your picks. You don't want to trade draft picks this early in the off season. Once the rookie draft class becomes more defined, "rookie fever" will hit and you'll will get MUCH higher value for them.

Keenan Allen is tempting but I'd pass for now.

Man that's close. I love Keenan, but I think the 3rd and 4th overall is the better side of the deal. Garcon and a 19 late 1st do nothing for me

If your team was a contender in need of another WR to make them favorites for the ship I would do it in a heartbeat, but you look like you really need some RBs and the 3 and 4 will get you those

Even with rookie fever I don't think there's any way you touch obj or Evans with anything less than the 1.1+. I would say that if you can get Keenan straight up for the 1.04 and 1.09 and drop the rest of the trade out then it's a good deal.

I like K. Allen above the 1.01 and 2019 picks are too hard to predict - so you could always benefit from it being better than expected.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

I like how you are building the team. I voted for the Allen side, but I think it could go either way. With the trade you are buying yourself a roster spot for another year, which I like. And, you can say 1.9 = garçon and the 19 first (I’ll take the 1.9 but let’s just say equal for argument sake). That means you can have Allen or the top 2 WR in this draft (Ridley and Sutton?). Over the next 1-2 yr I’ll take your side, after that it depends on how the youngsters develope.
