The only way I am doing this is if I believe luck is done. In a 2 qb league ( which I don't play in), I have to assume luck is worth more than OBJ

Pre injury Luck was certainly worth more than Beckham. I'm not so sure now. There is a lot of uncertainty around his shoulder and whether or not it's healing. I wouldn't blame you if you moved on, especially if you have two other stable QBs.

Before he missed the entire 2017 with an injury to his throwing shoulder, I would have absolutely valued Luck equal to or higher than OBJ in a 2QB league. Now? I think I’d rather have OBJ and go after some middle of the road QBs with less risk. I might not give a 1st with Luck, but I’d probably do the deal with a 2nd.

I also have concerns with the shoulder, but don't think you should have to send a 1st for a player valued equally in most 2-QB rankings.

In one of the leagues I commish, we did the startup almost exactly a year ago. 16 teams, start 2QB, tiered ppr, full IDP.

Luck went 1.01
Beckham went 1.02

That’s how close they are. You could make a case that they were 1A and 1B, but who knows. Depending on if you still believe Luck will come back healthy, you could still make the case that they are probably both still 1A and 1B in this type of league.

I wouldn’t add anything to the Luck side to get Beckham, but you can certainly say that Luck’s health concerns have hurt his value.

In addition, the 1.09 is nothing to sneeze at in a 2QB league. QBs will be taken early (maybe even too early), and other talent will fall.

Whether you make the trade or not depends a lot on your team makeup. If you have the QB depth to remain competitive without Luck, then you likely won’t get a better return for him in Beckham.

However, a solid QB is so much more difficult to come by (whether through draft or trade) than a solid WR. Positional scarcity plays a huge part as well.

Again, I personally wouldn’t make the trade, but it’s pretty damn close either way, depending on your view of Luck.

Tough to say, but if it's true 2QB instead of superflex, I would have to lean Luck and the pick
