Fournette for Antonio Brown?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Fournette for Antonio Brown?

Postby Finfansteve » Fri Jan 05, 2018 8:08 am

Ten team keeper non ppr standard scoring league with one point bonuses every 20yards receiving/rushing league.

My rb/wr core is as follows:
Rb
Zeke
Gurley
Fournette

Wr
Julio
Cooks
Josh Gordon
Ty Hilton
Corey Davis

We can start 2 rbs and 3 wrs OR 1 rb and 4 wrs.

I’ve been offered by one of my league mates his Antonio for my Fournette. I worry about AB post Ben retirement whenever that may be but the thought of pairing AB with Julio and whoever would end up as my 3rd wr is ever so tempting as well. As of stands now Fournette sits the bench for me except bye weeks and Zeke’s suspension this year when Fournette became invaluable.

Do you guys think this trade makes my team better?

Thanks in advance!
Qb: Hurts, geno Smith
Rb: JT, Gibbs, Montgomery, Roschon, Z. White, Ty Chandler
Wr: AJB, JJ, Chase, waddle, G Wilson
TE: Pitts, Kincaid, Likely, Njoku

2024 1.01, 1.04, 1.05
10 team
9 players kept yearly
Non PPR
Not super flex
Start 1/1/2/1/2 flex
1 point per first down
All tds 6 points

Goodbye Fournette.

AB will help your a lot more than Fournette will for the next few years. Ben possibly retiring makes it a little risky of course, but this is Antonio Brown we're talking about. I would have to accept this

Fournette for me please.

Dude's a freak and I assume this rookie year is his floor. We're talking dynasty too and AB is about to be 30. He obviously has some great years left but RBs are harder to come by in my opinion. Plus Fournette is just so fun to watch

AB in any format. I am not a Fournette believer and would take AB easily over him. LF is a sell high for me.

As. Steelers fan it pains me to say this but I’d go fournette with your league being non ppr. He’s going to maintain his value a lot longer whereas Brown will take hits once he turns 30, once Ben retires and as smith schuster gets more involved

100% trade Fournette for Brown when you can start 1 RB and 4 WRs and still have Zeke and Gurley!!

Yeah I'm going Brown here. The production is just too massive and consistent.

I want to say AB, but know the 'value' will probably weigh in favor of Fournette in as little as 1-2 years from now (AB's age, possible Ben retirement, etc). AB will obviously still be productive, but any dings to the situation wont go ignored

Tough. I'm kinda leaning Fournette because it's non ppr and age, but AB is pretty awesome and I'm not as high on Fournette as others. Maybe I just talked myself into going with AB lol.
