Offers you've seen or received for the 2018 1.01

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

For the 1.1 and it got rejected - I'm not surprised but still that's a decent haul to a team that needs help everywhere.
It's not a bad offer. But the only sure bet there is Henry, not surprised.
You think Henry is a sure thing?
what's your opinion on Henry - would love to hear it, honestly. I nearly secured multiple trades for him all season but it all fell apart. With everything I'm reading now - that he'll never be a workhorse, they'll add a pass catcher, they are high on the coaching staff that can't coach, wheather it's demarco or someone else, it's setting up for a time share - seems like his stock is low. I also looked at the guy as a potential RB1 when Demarco is gone, but it doesn't seem to be looking that way. Thoughts?

In a superflex
Brady/CJ Anderson/Martavis/1.12/4.12/2019 1st
-for my
Dalton/Trent Taylor/1.01.

I don't think it was far off, but I declined as my roster sucks and I don't think any of those pieces help me long term or anything.

I've got an offer sitting out of me giving Julio for the 1.01

and I was offered: Parker/Schuster for 1.01. Declined that as well
firm pass. that's borderline insulting.

i really don't get it... it's definitely not a bad haul... but you are hoping on hitting 2/3 of those picks - and i get it, saquon is a transcended player - like hunt and kamara did. those two are set up in all likelihood to be dynasty impact players for a near decade if not more. why give it up for a possibility? it's not like highly coveted draft picks haven't hit before.

You offered both of those guys for the 1.01?????
Not surprised, I can't move Hilton to save my life. Best offer I got was an early second, which quite frankly I think is a slap in the face. As long as Luck comes back, Hilton should be moved back into the WR1 category.
I don't agree. He is a proven WR, not that old (28) and can ball with a servicable QB and still put up WR1 numbers, just not a terrible one like Bursett. I acquired him for a late first a few years ago and the owner still beats himself up about it. I DEFINITELY would not be trying to move him while his value is down. Luck comes back, the guy is as consistent as they come. If he doesn't and Indy clears house, there will be plenty of suitors that will pay the man and make him relevant again, *cough* Grop and 9ers *cough*

All good points and that is why I am nervous. But - and I may be in the minority here - I don’t view Kamara’s production as sustainable. He is averaging 6ypc which likely comes down a bit and I don’t think he suddenly increases his touches massively as Ingram is going nowhere. He is obviously a special talent but I am hoping that I’m selling at the top of the market with him.

Essentially I think that both Kamara and Hunt are not quite elite talents in perfect situations. But situations change and I prefer talent in the long term so I’ll take the elite talent of Saquon plus two near-elite talents. Plus I could do with a bit more at WR so I’m hoping that rookie fever means I can flip 1.02 and/or 1.03 with something else closer to draft time for a stud, as the perceived value of the picks likely increase.

Having said all that, it’s entirely possible that this looks like a terrible trade in a year’s time - but that’s fantasy!!

Fair and good response. And you are right to think that his production may be unsustainable. However, the dude ended the year as the overall RB3 in PPR, with Hunt as the RB4. Kamara scored only 23 fantasy points less than LeVeon. In a time share? wow. So if we anticipate some regression, it's fair to assume we're looking at two top 10-15 backs for next year, super young, with now the proven ceiling. Also, it's not a lock that Ingram stays, but if NOS were smart they'd keep him as this is the best example of a time-share gone incredibly right as I can think of.

It's not a terrible trade by far, and you could use help at WR (like you mentioned). Sutton would be very nice and see him dropping if the destination isn't desirable, with him eventually performing, with me trying to steal the pick that will acquire him.

Just traded the 1.01 for Evans. I earned the 1.01 so my team needs some work. Not sure how to feel yet, i think barkley is going to be special, but hopefully Evans can turn it around next season.

where did you hear that? everything ive ever read pointed to them cutting Dermarco this offseason for no penalty and moving forward with Henry as a 3-down back (which he is) i wouldnt be surprised if they let the coaching staff go this offseason depending on what they do in the playoffs. i think that team has MUCH more urgent needs than a pass catcher in the bacfield, primarily on defense and another WR and some OL help.

Mariota has not been remotely impressive in the current scheme and i have to assume the GM (or owner) see this too and want him to live up to his lofty draft pedigree, which he wont in an "exotic smashmouth"

thoughts? i personally am trying to buy low on him for Team 1 below, and wouldnt sell him for less than 1.1 where i do own him (albeit i would add to him to get it)

I'd keep 1.01 if you have it.

Have an offer on the table to give Freeman and receive 1.01. Team in sig. Thoughts? Stuck between the known commodity vs the hope

Got a lot of aging players on the roster so you can look at it two ways: take Bark to get younger or keep Freeman to make the stronger push in 2018. I'd get younger personally.

Yikes.... You are hoping 1.01 1.02 1.03 become those players. If Barkley lands in some God awful place like Cleveland and forever stuck in the muck you will wish you had one of those players back. Not say Barkley can't be the next Adrian Peterson... but he could also be the next Ki-Jana Carter
And Kareem Hunt could be the next Jay Ajayi. And Alvin Kamara could be the next Giovanni Bernard.

I think the trade is a toss-up. The biggest mistake fantasy football owners make is assuming that 2nd year guys have exponentially less risk than rookies. There are about a zillion running backs that looked awesome as a rookie and then fell flat on their face in year 2. The odds are actually surprisingly high, historically, especially when talking about guys outside the 1st half of the 1st round of the NFL draft like Hunt/Kamara.
