Kizer

Postby Rtreilly81 » Wed Dec 20, 2017 11:33 am

So the Kizer owner has all but given up on him. I was offered Kizer for the 3.02. Keep in mind this is a 16 team super flex. Is the cost low enough for me to roll the dice or is he done done in Cleveland?
16 team ppr superflex

QB: Garoppolo, Ben Roethlisberger
RB: Mixon, Henry, Booker, Miller, Mack, McNichols, Ballage
WR: Davis, Treadwell, Jmatt, Beasley, DJ Moore, J Washington, Tre’ Smith, Prich, Taywan Taylor, Chad Williams, Benjamin, Krishawn Hogan
TE: Njoku, McDonald

18 picks: 1.13, 2.07, 2.13, 3.02

There are better avenues to spend your resources. Kizer is under contract in Cleveland. Cleveland has two top 5 picks in the draft. They now have a smart GM. There is ZERO chance they don't draft a QB. That QB will immediately be "the guy".

In a league of that size that's superflex that's a reasonable price to pay.

The 34th pick for a starting QB? Yes, please! I'm also of the opinion that he won't keep his starting job, but that's still dirt cheap for even a decent backup QB in a 16 team superflex.

This seems like a no brainer in a super flex.....I am surprised by the tepid response. Maybe they draft a QB but there is no guarantee he is any good either. Kizer is 21 (i believe) and has tons of physical talent. Goff was garbage and bounced back with some better coaching. Let's see if he can start to learn to minimize the mental errors.

P.S. The "smart GM" comment made my LOL. In most fantasy circles it sems evident they fired a good GM and kept the problem, the head coach, who has 1 win in two years. Sashi added a lot of potential premium talent and set the team up to rake in the 2018 draft. Now Dorsey can make those picks and prob put this team into salary cap hell like he did with the Chiefs lol. IF only the owner wasn't such a chicken bleep to see the initial plan through.

I personally think that price is a little too steep for a QB who is all but guaranteed to not be the starter in 2018..

I don’t play in a superflex league. Would you normally trade that pick for a back up QB? Zero chance of them not drafting a new QB. I live in Cleveland. Zero chance.
Just watch it

Agree 100%. The sad thing is, when all these young talented players start blossoming over the next year or two, their new “smart GM” is probably gonna get all the credit for “righting the ship,” when in reality it’s just Sashi’s plan coming to fruition. The impatience and lack of fortitude by the Browns’ ownership to actually see his plan through is disheartening.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

WR: Nuk $78/1, MT $25/1, M. Williams $1/0, JSN $21/5, Reed $4/5, Rice $4/5, M. Wilson $2/5

Whoa to say the qb they draft doesn't fail? Maybe he's not ready. Right away. I wouldn't guarantee kizer doesn't start there next year at all. It's the browns! I know qbs taken in the first round are locks to be superstars but you never know.

Exactly. Ask John Elway about drafting QBs as well and how it works out so easy -- another quality GM BTW hahahahaha
