Trading AB!? Which offer is best?

Postby PennyLenny » Fri Dec 15, 2017 3:25 pm

Possible trade scenarios for AB I’ll be looking at this off-season. Wondering what you guys think the post offer is for him in a vacuum. Any help is appreciated!

I don't think I would do any of those. In a complete rebuild maybe for 1.01, but I would try to get something added to 1.01.
12 Team (2014 Champ, 2016 2nd, 2021 Champ) 1.0 PPR, 1.5 TE, Superflex, Start 9, 1-2 QB, 2-4 RB, 3-4 WR, 1-3 TE

QB - J. Hurts, M. Stafford, K. Cousins
RB - S. Barkley, D. Cook, E. Elliot, T. Pollard, A. Mattison
WR - D. Adams, DK Metcalf, A. Cooper, C. Ridley, R. Anderson, C. Davis, J. Jones
TE - M. Andrews, G. Kittle, M. Cox

All bad unless you are solid at WR and have several top 15 guys I would consider 1.01 and a WR2/3 with upside. I am trying to get AB for the 1.01 it probably won't happen.

The AB + CMC for Gurley & AB + Ertz for Zeke are ludicrous!

All of those trades under value AB and by a lot. As an AB owner myself he is a pencil in 20 points every week, who else gives you that nobody. Every offer up there needs something added to the other side to get AB, and in most of the deals that something needs to be big.

The only one I’d even remotely consider fair is the fourth one, and that’s assuming it’s Derrick Henry (not Hunter). I might consider that deal in a rebuild. The other offers are garbage.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

🦬PRIME🦬
QB: Hurts, Howell
RB: Mixon, Jones, Sanders, Dobbins, Akers, Roschon, Dowdle, Kelley
WR: Nuk, Godwin, Cooper, Lockett, Flowers, Chark, Collins, Hollins, Tillman, Tolbert
TE: Hockenson, Chig, Trautman
Taxi: Willis, Z. White, M. Mims, T. Palmer

Hull Awaits
$450 cap, 60 contract years

QB: Lawrence $5/3, Richardson $5/5, Minshew $1/0, Jones $1/0, Heinicke $1/0, Tyrod $1/0
RB: Achane $4/4, Warren $2/4, Roschon $7/5, Dillon $4/1, Hubbard $2/1, Kelley $1/0
WR: Nuk $78/1, MT $25/1, M. Williams $1/0, JSN $21/5, Reed $4/5, Rice $4/5, M. Wilson $2/5
TE: Thomas $1/0, Hill $1/0, Parham $1/0

If I was rebuilding I would trade AB for Davis/Engram/Henry/Hill.

I don't think the Zeke one is that bad. I'd also consider trading him for Keenan and Cook if you can remove Ertz from your side.

I don't think you're insane for trading AB - but I wouldn't trade him for any of that.

I traded away AB in one league that I finished last. While I don't think anyone offered enough for him, it was still in my best interest to move him as I wasn't going to compete for the playoffs in the next few years. It's hard to get fair value for him as not many teams have the ammo to acquire him w/out destroying their own team.

That said, I'd consider a deal that includes Zeke or Gurley as high end RBs are very rare.

(I got Diggs, a 2018 first, a 2019 first, and Jamaal Williams. I gave AB + a late 2nd + a late 3rd)
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

Agreed hard to trade ab for value .. most teams with high picks don’t wanna an aging player for the 1-01 or even a young stud rb .. If I was looking at rebuilding I would consider the gurley zeke and Davis trades maybe some slight tweaking but there not far off. If u get full value for ab good luck and good job

I posted a semi similar question in regards to Julio. A lot of the opinions I got stated Julio for 1.01 was fair in a situation where you have other good WRs on top of Julio. To me, AB is worth more than Julio. I’m not trading him for any of that. If you can get 1.01+ them I’d consider it. But knowing your roster makeup is important. What else do you have?
8 team SUPERFLEX, PPR, .2 PPC, 1.5PPR for TEs, 5 point passing TDs, IDP
Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX, 1 SF, 1 K
3DL, 4 LB, 4 DB

QB- Rodgers, Wentz,
RB- DJ, Barkley, Kamara, Cook, Mixon, Jamaal Williams, Aaron Jones, Ekeler, Lindsay, Powell
WR- AB, OBJ, Nuk, Michael Thomas, Adams, Watkins, Josh Gordon, Dante Pettis, Doctson, Tyrell, Josh Reynolds
TE- Zach Ertz, Jordan Reed, Hunter Henry, Shaheen
DL- Watt, Donald, Campbell, Griffen, Graham, Irving
LB- Kuechly, Lee, Kwon, Martinez, Hicks, Eric Kendricks, Edmunds, Preston Brown, Hitchens
DB- Landon Collins, Keanu Neal, Poyer, Hyde, Quin, Cyprien
