I just asked him again about the trade and he is still interested. However he said he would only do the trade with the intent that it could be a potential 1.1. So the question is now do I wait and hope to get the 1.1 or just go ahead and get Cook? If I lose this week then he won't do the trade.

I wouldn't risk losing the 1.1 to land cook

If your pick ends up the 1.2 for Guice, it's pretty close to neutral

If it ends up 1.3 or 1.4 you lost a little, but aw well, not worth risking the 1.1 for in my opinion

I own cook, and I completely understand the other owner only being interested in this trade for that chance at Barkley and knowing he wouldn't get the 1.1 if it was cemented as the 1.1

.......Almost makes me wonder if I shouldn't reach out to the top 2 teams in our draft lottery (40 and 30 percent chance of 1.1) with my Cook to see if interested. Seems too high risk for me and with my luck I'd get the 1.3 or 1.4 and be a big downgrade

Is it weird that in my talking it out, I see both sides of this trade as too much risk and wouldn't do it either way? lol

I don't play in any QB-premium leagues but based on what I know, I'm pretty sure I would much rather have Jimmy G and Ajayi over just Cook

Qb is a luxury for the op. My guess is that it comes down to qb situation and how your partner feels about ajayi.

I would say that Cook is worth about the 1.02 or 1.03 in this class. As some others said, I agree, I like Barkley more than Cook, but Cook more than the rest of the rookies, without knowing their landing spot..

Cook is good, but do I really want to buy a guy that is coming off an ACL tear? I know he has tonnes of time to rehab and the recovery is much better and faster than a few years ago, but he didn't test well athletically to begin with. I wouldn't be buying until he comes back and performs

very good point. you may want to see what your buying in this situation. the problem here is once you know....the price is going to change. you need to find a price that your comfortable giving if you want him. rb's are all about buying the guys you like, at the price you want to pay.
