This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Team evaluation

Postby darewood11 » Tue Dec 12, 2017 8:31 pm

Brand new member
I took on my first dynasty team this year and made a few trades immediately. I was hoping to get some thoughts on my team and maybe what my weaknesses are.
10 team standard
1qb 2rb 2wr 1te 3flex 35 man roster
Qb Stafford Dalton tyrod Bridgewater
Rb Hyde Howard ajayi Aaron jones Crowell
Foreman breida Dixon and joe williams
Wr thielen Crabtree Corey Davis watkins lee djax
John Brown Parker maclin Treadwell
Te Henry

I need te depth as my 2nd te was Bennett and he's done. Is Ebron worth a stash?

Jonnu Smith higby and Burton are also available. I think if Burton moves on and gets to be a starter in a good offense he has potential but also think maybe Vance McDonald could be very good next year for Pittsburgh

Ya I would def stash Ebron man. I like Jonnu and Burton as well. I would look to do something about holding 4 QBs and use one of those spots on a third TE. I would look to move Crowell, Howard, Ajayi, and Dixon too, ideally for some picks but maybe in some type of package up to get a stud RB or WR.

You can stash Ebron as long as he's free. I'd also work on upgrading your WRs during the off-season. You need better studs in a 10 team league.

Agree with above, you need to get better studs. See if you can pull off a 2 for 1, I love those trades because it frees up a roster spot for a stash.

I have 2 1st round picks this year between 6 and 10 somewhere. I want to trim back atleast 1 qb bit i don't know who to get rid of.

You have a good team to build off of. I agree with the others, look at getting a stud WR or RB. Guys like Ajayi and Howard have some good value but I think they are moves while they have that value.

Crabtree would be a move player if you can get good value for him, love Theilen, Davis and Watkins.

TE I would absolutely grab Ebron if he is free. McDonald is a good stash as mentioned above also look at Jake Butt if you have 35 roster spots he could be a good play in 2018/2019

If I'm Gona flip Howard or ajayi what stud rb should i go after. Ajayi just doesn't have much value right now I don't think but Howard has some but I've always thought Howard has untapped potential.

Interesting team because the value could shift a lot on where some of these guys end up.

Where do Watkins, Hyde end up?
How good is Corey Davis?

A lot of potential there if Watkins and Hyde go to good situations.

I’m curious what your pick is this next draft. If you have a top 3 pick and grab a RB you could be setup nicely at RB with Barkley or Chubb and Howard as RB2.

WR I’d probably want a more legit stud. A Hopkins, AJG type. But honestly you might be fine, after all Thielan is top 5 this year.
QB: Lamar Jackson, Matthew Stafford
RB: Dalvin Cook, D'Andre Swift, Chris Carson , Jerrick McKinnon, Alexander Mattisson
WR: DeAndre Hopkins, Michael Thomas, Adam Thielen, Will Fuller, Darius Slayton, Brandon Aiyuk, Keelan Cole,
TE: Evan Ingram, Drew Sample, Cole Kmet
