I have a feeling the consensus is likely to be Alex Smith but I’d take Foles here. Philly just has more weapons and a better offensive line. Alex Smith is likely to give you a decent output but i really think at this point in the season his ceiling is fairly limited.

I'd go Smith if you're worried about Rodgers going down. For me, it would depend on who you would have to drop. I'd likely just roll with Rodgers and worry about a backup if he gets hurt again.

The last time Foles was considered a "starter" in the NFL it was in 2015 when he started 11 games for the Rams and scored in double digits in only 3 games. Alex Smith has scored in the single digits only one week all season. This isn't remotely close. Foles is still sitting on waivers in my superflex league without a bid (open auction) even with the Wentz news.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

I like Foles facing the Giants/Raiders more than Smith against the Chargers.

A Smith is the No 3 scoring QB in my league right now. Not saying he's a weekly top 5 start at this point, but I'd feel very comfortable starting him. I'm assuming you'd have to trade for him?

hes been rostered all year. a team who missed playoffs dumped him for a stash for next year. we have shallow rosters and bid real money for FAs. not my fave but is what it is
