The outcome of this trade is likely to be determined by a couple of factors pertaining to Sammy. If Sammy signs with a team and gains a more advantageous situation this deal could be even to me. If the Rams keep him around it’s a good deal for you. But right now it’s a great deal for you.

Sammy has actually done a better job of capitalizing on his potential than Evans this year, if you wanna start getting technical

Pretty sure he's saying Sammy has had one big year and is always dealing with something holding him back. Usually some kind of injury, or this year, no targets. I'm not really sure the phrasing really matters for the purposes of the trade.

I just wanted to move on from him because I'm tired of making excuses for him and waiting on the next soft-tissue injury. I think the only way this blows up on me is if Hill signs somewhere and regains his rookie form.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think there's much chance that you "lose" this trade, I just have no worries about Sammy's future. He has shown he's a stud talent this season even tho he's had a fluky (and frankly unsustainably-low) low number of targets for most of the season.

What I mean is both receivers are crazy talented, but Evans has proven he can be a top 5-10 WR for fantasy while Sammy has not

Sammy is currently #37 in my league, while Evans on his flop year is #24

last year Evans was #4Wr on the year (hence proving it) while Sammy was hurt

2015, Sammy was #26 and Evans was 28. Both had slow starts and came on very strong in the end

The potential is there for Sammy, I'm not denying that, but the production hasn't been there

Evans was #13 in 2014, while Sammy was 27, so I'm not sure what year people point to to say that Sammy can for sure produce fantasy points out of his considerable talent

I wouldn't want to own a share, would be very happy to sell to a believer like you though
