I made a decision tonight and buyer's remorse already. Yikes!

Well, I was offered a trade with literally minutes left before the trade deadline tonight. We went back and forth a little and I pulled the trigger. Not sure I should have. But, I don't have any 1st round picks for the next three years because I worked out trades this year for Brady, Kelce and Anderson in my team below.

So please tell me if I'm crazy to have done this.

I traded Derrick Henry away for Kenneth Dixon and the 1.4 or 1.5 in this next draft depending on how the final week goes.

Thoughts? Like I said, am I crazy to have done that? Having some buyer's remorse already.

It'll be either the 1.4 or 1.5. No matter how this last week shakes out it'll be one of those two spots.

Fair Value... depends on who you need and how the draft goes.. you could easily land better... or worse.

It's not a bad trade, as others have pointed out. Whether this trade pans out is entirely up to you. You've got the 1.04 or 1.05. Look at your leagues rookie draft last spring. Where did Kamara go? Where did Cooks go? Where did Hunt go? You just never know. I got Michael Thomas at 1.11 and was sad that I missed out on Sterling Shepard (who is fine and all) and a couple other dudes who I can't even remember right now.

Why would you have buyer's remorse? Henry has still yet to prove that he is worthy of any mid-1st. I said it last off-season, and I will say it again. I mean I will take Barkley, Sutton, Guice, Ridley, or Chubb over him right now.

Dixon may or may not become anything, but who cares when he was free?

I mean last year people were valuing Henry as if Murray died? His supporters were sure he would eat into touches and take over....I said it wouldn't happen, and it hasn't! In my PPR leagues, Murray is currently a mid-RB2 and Henry is a RB4. I mean you just pawned a RB4 for the chance to get a RB/WR 1/2...I think you actually did well.

If you were buying Henry this offseason expecting him to just take over that backfield this year, you’re just not doing this right. Most Henry owners/buyers likely weren’t expecting consistent production until 2018.

That said, I think it’s a fine trade. Kind of a weird deadline deal, since it doesn’t really help anyone win now, but I think it’s fair. Probably give the edge to the pick side, especially if it turns into the 1.04.

So you value Henry as high as Barkley/Guice/Sutton/Chubb? And what happens come this spring when they retain Murray? Are his owners going to just claim they were waiting for 2019? This smells like the CMike situation is Seattle all-over, although I will say Henry is definitely much more talented.

Retain Murray? Not likely. It's uncanny how much I disagree with your opinion.
