Josh Gordon v Dede Westbrook

I offered Westbrook for Gordon and it got rejected (team 2 in sig). Wondering who you all prefer and why. Thanks for the help!

I'm not surprised a Gordon owner rejected that, but I personally wouldn't give up much or anything for Gordon.

I would much rather have Gordon than Westbrook but I’m not sold on Westbrook and believe in Gordon (unfortunately).

I would rather have Dede - but it's not surprising a Gordon owner would decline that.
They own him for a reason.

I think it was a strong offer and as a Gordon owner in a few leagues, and have held him what seems like forever I might have entertained that offer.
This all comes down to belief in Gordon. If someone has help him for 2 years and got him for free they will cling to the upside. But with all the WRs except Hurns not signed for next yr in JAX Westbrook could take the Marquise Lee role on this offense. Not huge upside but a decent floor to the risk of Gordon. Again all belief in Gordon to stay on the field.

Too me it all depends on the owners and how much they have invested in Gordon. If they are still holding on to the Gordon from 2014..or 2015.? Not sure it’s been so long, then they may not move him. A few weeks ago it may have been accepted, but now that he’s reinstated everyone expects him to be the best wr.

Given the option, always been against the addict. How many failed to heed the warnings the last time he was reinstated? Or the ones about Martavis Bryant? Funny he hasn't even gotten his next suspension and his value is still in the toilet. The trade is fair, just personal preference. I'd rather take Westbrook just because he's the one still likely to be in the league at the time 2018 kicks off.

Legit offer and wouldn’t be surprised either way. Gordon has way more upside but is a knucklehead that may (likely) never contribute again. Westbrook has potential and I think will have value especially in PPR leagues. I voted Westbrook but can see either side and either side preferred by a solid margin.

This. Even if Gordon goes down in flames, Westbrook is easily replaceable. I know repeat offenders are risky, but I have a gut feeling that Gordon stays out of trouble this time. I would have rejected this one as well.

I'd lean toward Gordon. Westbrook's size scares me about as much as Gordon's issues, and didn't Dede have some character concerns coming out as well? Plus, there's only a 2 year age difference. I do like Dede's talent, though, so not a bad offer

This again. I like to load up on WRs that have WR1 potential. Don't see that in Westbrook.

Browns coach Hue Jackson wants Josh Gordon to play "as much as possible" in his Week 13 return.

Making his first regular season appearance since Dec. 2014, there's no way Gordon will be ready for a full complement of snaps, but Jackson made it clear the desperate Browns will work him into the offense as quickly as possible. It wouldn't be a surprise if Gordon played the second most snaps behind Corey Coleman. Considering the unknown state of Gordon's game and DeShone Kizer's struggles under center, he should be considered a WR4, at best, for Week 13. Nov 27 - 2:47 PM

Coming from someone that was BURNED by Justin Blackmon, I do hold some skepticism towards Gordon. That being said, his upside is too much to pass up.
