Trading for Ingram for playoff's

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trading for Ingram for playoff's

Postby myth010 » Wed Nov 22, 2017 3:53 pm

12 team league, PPR 6pt QB TD. 2 conferences, 3 teams with best record from each conference will make playoffs.

Should I trade Derrick Henry for Mark Ingram to help me in the playoff run.

Currently at 9-5 with another team with same record and 2 more teams in conference at 8-6 (we had some double headers).

My team (Starters: 1QB, 2RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex)

QB: Mariota, Kennum (Rodgers on IR)
RB: Melvin Gordon, Perine, Reddick, Aaron Jones, Henry
WR: Hopkins, Julio, Adams, Marvin Jones (only startable options at WR others are useless as of now John brown & Snead)
TE: Kelce & Gronk

Should I trade Henry for Mark Ingram so I can improve my 2nd starter at RB or add a possible flex option, most of the season I have been using TE at Flex. Got some weeks from one of the RB's but the position is far from solid for my team.

If it's me I would, but I don't believe Henry will be successful as a full time starter so I imagine those who are higher on him might disagree.

I think Henry has more value, but I think it's not that far off, especially if you're competing.

Ingram is an RB1 ROS, and adding him to that starting lineup would make it very solid all around.

You need RB help in the worst way and I would definitely look to add Ingram if you are going for it all. Henry hasn't progressed like I thought he would this year and I don't necessarily envision him becoming a three down workhorse like many expect him to be. I moved him earlier this year due to his lack of progression.

As an Ingram owner in a rebuild I’m not selling for Henry. I’d need more. This is going to be the 3rd year in a row where Ingram ends up a Top 10 RB. He is so undervalued it’s crazy.

Ingram can help people win it all. Henry likely cannot (baring an injury to Murray).

I traded for Ingram yesterday giving my '18 1st (mid-late) + Perine.

Felt like a good sell point for Perine. The two 100 yard games were nice, but seem to be a lot of skeptics of him long term.
