This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Bell for the future

Postby troyticus » Wed Nov 22, 2017 2:22 pm

Ive been trying to acquire a big time back to solidify my chances to win this year. Bell's owner offered me him for Mixon plus both my late first (1.10-1.12) and late second (2.10-2.12) round picks and an additional early second I acquired (2.02-2.04). This amounts to my entire draft as we only do 3 rounds, so I cant counter with a lower pick. Im pretty confident this will make the the favorite to win the league with the playoffs starting in week 13 and Bell still has a few more prime years left. I also have the depth of prospects to take the hit. Am I crazy for even considering this, or is this a deal i should actually pull the trigger on?

Man, this one makes me nervous. I love Bell, but I think there are some major questions moving forward. Will he be back in Pitt next year? Will the offense be the same if Ben retires? Mixon, a late first, early and late second seem like a lot to me.

I can't believe a Bell owner would throw him out there like that...so cheap
