Crowell Value 2018

Postby dynastyfanatic » Wed Nov 22, 2017 8:40 am

Is Crowell a buy-low right now?

Standard league, I have a late 18 1st and was thinking about investing in Crowell right now for that.

Thoughts?

How does he compare to the back half of the 1st do you think?

Does he hold more value than that pick when May comes around?

Thanks!

I voted Crowell because I’m a fan, but the values are even there in my mind. I wouldn’t sell Crow for less.

That's probably fair value.

My problem with Crow is he is always at the bottom of the league in yards after contact.

As a Crowell owner I'd take the pick.

Give me the 1st! You can do much better than Crow with even a late first. I went through the pain of owning Crowell for a couple of weeks & don't want to do that ever again.

Standard league scoring, RBs are worth a lot more in our league compared to the typical PPR consensus.

Yea, I'm not sold, was just trying to see his value.

Hes young and still a good RB I think, just has a horrible situation. I think the 2018 change of scenery could be nice for him.

The shine looks like it has left Crowell and with all this new RB talent coming into the league there will be many vets relegated to back up roles or off of rosters. I would take any first for a guy like him

Late 1st? He can barely break 50 yards.

In a 12 team 1ppr league I offered him to a contender for his late second and the only reason he responded was to laugh at me.

I bought Crowell for a what should be a late 2019 2nd in a league where I wanted RB depth for emergency purposes come playoff push. I wouldn't have paid mor. I'm not in love with him, but think his future is 50/50 in terms of improving or decreasing. He's not special and will have competition, but Latavius Murray hangs around, and I similarly think Crowell just needs a team that isn't a dumpster fire around him to be a RB3 with upside. Could have paid less for an older guy like Powell perhaps, but added to have some chance at a future and not simply a sunk cost. Simply put, Kizer is not scaring any defense, and a new destination COULD result in an improvement in production.
