Expected return for Lamar Miller?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Expected return for Lamar Miller?

Postby TommyL31 » Tue Nov 21, 2017 8:22 am

I'm on the outside looking in for the playoffs but thinking it's wiser to try to build for the future.

I have Lamar Miller and with Foreman going down I'm thinking this a good opportunity to sell to a contender.

In a 12 team PPR 2RB/3WR/flex league do you think I could get either of the following from a contender for Miller?

Derrick Henry and a 2nd
Tevin Coleman and a 2nd

I'm not sure either would get accepted but I think they're reasonable starting points. Not sure I would take much less.

I think you have the right mindset going in. I don't think either of these deals gets accepted but worth the try. I especially like the Henry one if you are able to pull something like that off, it finally feels like his time is coming with Murray looking pedestrian.

Selling Miller early next year may not be a bad play either. Foreman will be out for a year and presumably won't come back at 100% right off the bat. Miller looked really nice when Watson was in the lineup this season. If Watson starts next season, I think Miller could start hot and be a nice movable asset too.

Very reasonable starting points and agree that I wouldn't take much less. My personal preference is Henry as I think he is a better talent than Coleman.

As a contender I just made the following trade for Miller:

Give: presumably late 2019 1st/Ameer
Get: Miller/early 2019 3rd

I'm high on Henry so I would think the Henry straight up would be fair. I think after Coleman's subpar showing the 2nd trade is definitely fair.

I like both. Not sure the other owner would do the Henry deal, but you might have a shot at the Coleman one.

I just took a likely late 18 1st, but that was prior to the Foreman injury. I'd bump that up now, definitely mid 1st or late 1st plus.
