Corey Davis buy low?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Gronk+ or Corey Davis+

Corey Davis buy low?

Postby Dynasty19 » Tue Nov 21, 2017 7:52 am

Is it time to try and buy low on Corey Davis or does he seem like he isn’t worth pursuing? In my team 2 below, I’m looking to get younger and was thinking about offering a deal for CD by giving Gronk.

Something like
Give: Gronk and Robby Anderson
Receive: Corey Davis and some sort of 2018 draft pick.

Thoughts?
10 Team - Full PPR
QB - Wentz, Mayfield, Carr
RB - Chubb, Bell, Conner, Lindsay, McKinnon
WR - Adams, OBJ, AJ Brown, McLaurin, Cooks, Crowder, Watkins
TE - Engram, Goedert, Howard, Knox

While I would probably won't argue you should get a little something in return, I'm thinking it probably won't happen

Boy looks Like I am the only one voting for Gronk side. Anderson is very underrated. He is 24 and broke out at the end of last year. Double digit pts in 7 of 10 games. A couple 20 pt games so he is not just a throw in. Now you add Gronk who can be a difference maker and you get a WR who hasn't done it but has potential to be difference maker. Maybe it is because I am biased against trading a stud and a very solid WR for potential stud. I see it as
Gronk > Davis
Anderson> 2nd

If you're not competing, I'd rather have Davis.

Offering Gronk isn't exactly buying low.

Going to be tough to pry Davis away without an overpay though. He was drafted high for a reason and his owner will want to see what he can do now that he's healthy and has some good matchups coming up.
