Its still Diggs for me. I dont consider Keenum a long term QB there and Diggs is the better WR.

This. But you have to give Theilen a long look

Oh Im going to give Theilen full credit for how hes performing. But if someone offered me Theilen (whos 27) for my Diggs (whos 23), I would flat reject it. Rams shadowed Diggs with Trumaine Johnson while Theilen had some undrafted kid covering him. I would temper my Theilen love long term just a little because Keenum is hyper targeting him. But I will absolutely admit Theilen has looked great.

Wasn't going after your comment haha, I agree with you 100%. Theilen has the luxury of playing against the CB2s. Last week, Josh Norman shadowed Diggs and Diggs was still productive. Trumaine Johnson is not a top 5 CAB or anything, but if you have a very good receiver in Theilen playing against an undrafted rookie, you throw to him a lot. As a Vikes fan, I love to see Keenum exploiting those matchups.

Depends. I still think Diggs is probably more talented and is younger. But if you're competing this year, go with Thielen.

I actually believe Thielen is more talented than Diggs, but he is also older.
If you place a very high premium on age, you go Diggs.

Fascinating. Run this poll again in March please. I see people are stuck in season.

Thielen is in the mold of Baldwin. Not physically, but in fantasy owners' perceptions. He will always lose some value because he's not supposed to be as good as he has produced (and will probably continue to produce). You can look at cases like Pryor or Hurns to confirm this mindset, or you can look at Baldwin and see that this type of sustained success isn't a fluke. It makes Thielen and this particular comparison very polarizing, as Diggs should be the better/more valuable player.

From a value standpoint I think Diggs owners should be holding unless the Thielen owner will add, which he justifiably shouldn't. For Thielen owners I would also suggest holding/using Thielen in your lineups to help you win unless you're rebuilding or are given an above market value trade offer by someone who is perhaps chasing his points.

I guess that's where it comes down to name vs production

I was able to obtain this season Both Thielen and Baldwin because of what you said, the mindset is they should not be doing this.

Ill take these guys all day!

Came here to say exactly this. Reminds me so much of Baldwin.

Thielen is older, but from last year into this year all he does is produce and still seems very underrated. I think a lot of dynasty players are probably going to poo poo Thielen in the offseason due to age, late breakout, draft pedigree, etc. but he's demonstrated he's the real deal.

With that said, Diggs can easily be in the top 10 overall conversation soon, and he's so much younger. But Thielen is no joke and will bring a lot of people championships this year.

Honestly I don't like Diggs... but I think he's worth more on the market than Thielen. Diggs seems to miss a decent chunk of time every year. But we have no idea how Thielen will do once Teddy comes back.
