Cooks/Keenen for Fournette?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Cooks/Keenen for Fournette?

Postby BelichekYourSelf » Sat Nov 18, 2017 11:19 pm

Team 1 in my sig

Is this too much of an overpay? I need RB help and have plenty of WR depth.

One of my 2018 1sts and guaranteed to be no lower than the 1.02 with a 75% chance of being the 1.01. I like the idea of a Rodgers, Fournette, Barkley, OBJ, Evans, one of my other WRs as my starting lineup next season.
12 Team. Roster 22, 4 TS. PPR, TE Prem (1.75). Start 1 QB, 5 flex (2 RB Max), 1 Def, 1 K
QB P. Mahomes, J. Goff, B Zappe (TS)
RB S. Barkley, N. Chubb, R. Stevenson, T. Pollard, J. Cook, K. Herbert, A. Mattison, E. Mitchell
WR AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, C. Kupp, A. Cooper, D. Hopkins, DJ Moore, B. Aiyuk, R. Doubs, K. Boutte (TS), C. Tillman (TS), M. Wilson (TS)
TE M. Andrews
Def Patriots, Ravens

Feels like an overpay to me. I think you should be able to get something else on top.

It's a lot to give up, but damn you're stacked at WR. I definitely think it's a good move considering how lopsided your RB/WR corps are.

Fournette is out again today. Anyone worried about his fragility? Or is he just a little banged up this year and will likely play a full season next year and thereafter?

I dont make that trade Id rather do cooks for a rb (like cook) or something closer to that, I'm not sold on fournette in that offense. Too much of an over pay for my liking

That's an overpay. I'd need something back.

Id probably put feelers out and see what I could get for Cooks or Keenan straight up, but honestly with the makeup of your team I’d probably do this deal.
QB: Lamar Jackson, Matthew Stafford
RB: Dalvin Cook, D'Andre Swift, Chris Carson , Jerrick McKinnon, Alexander Mattisson
WR: DeAndre Hopkins, Michael Thomas, Adam Thielen, Will Fuller, Darius Slayton, Brandon Aiyuk, Keelan Cole,
TE: Evan Ingram, Drew Sample, Cole Kmet

Overpay.

You're stacked at receiver BECAUSE you own those two receivers. Trade them away and you're not nearly as good at receiver as you might think. I'm not sure I would trade Cooks for Fournette straight up FYI.

Keenan is an insane target hog; I don't really mind the two-for-one, but I'd suggest Cooks and Alshon instead. I'm decently high on Fournette and with your two 1sts you can pick up a couple more RBs. Keenan has had an off year, but I think in the end, he's one to keep. If this was a PPR, then I don't make this trade, but since it's for the TE only, I say replace Keenan and make the trade.

Just because you can make the offer pay doesn't mean you should. Feel like Cooks/Keenan/LF all are pretty close in value. Sending both WRs for LF is a massive overpay imo.

I’d ask for a high second or late first in return. Too much of an overlay to not get anything back
10 Team - Full PPR
QB - Wentz, Mayfield, Carr
RB - Chubb, Bell, Conner, Lindsay, McKinnon
WR - Adams, OBJ, AJ Brown, McLaurin, Cooks, Crowder, Watkins
TE - Engram, Goedert, Howard, Knox
