What to give for a 2018 1st?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

What to give for a 2018 1st?

Postby EaglesFly » Sat Nov 18, 2017 7:02 pm

I’d like to try to trade for 1st rounder. Wr seems to be my strength. I am thinking about offering 2 wr for a first rounder. What two would you offer up? I am ok giving up more. But not sure what to send for the pick. Thoughts? Thanks for the help

You could get a mid first for A rob and a mid first for Sammy. But I wonder if the guy you would take at 5 will be better than what your trading them for. I’m not a Sammy fan so I would take a mid first for him.

if you can send two of moncrief, doctson, galloday, gordon for a mid first i would do it

you should see if you can find a gordon supporter for a mid/late 1st...add one of the others if needed
actually, with your TEs...you should try eiffert and one of those WRs for a mid 1st...
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc
Watson, Brady, Mills
Ekeler, Hunt, Carson/Penny, DForeman, Mitchell, CPat, Kyren, Ford, KHarris
Cooper, sutton, Chase, Shepard, Atwell, Schwartz, Wan'Dale, Austin III
Gesicki, Engram, Hooper, Woods
team 2 -start QB 2RB 3WR TE 2Flex K D
Cousins, Stafford
DH JT, Ekeler, Kylin Hill, Herbert, KHarris, Chandler
Hopkins, Diggs, Adams, Godwin, McLaurin, Callaway, DPJ, Robby Anderson, Schwartz, Pierce, Wan'Dale, Doubs
Kelce, Andrews, Jacob Harris

Teams competing might be willing to move a 1st, but they're going to want someone in return who will help them this year. Hopkins is the only player on your roster that would help another team and is worth a 1st (multiple 1sts in this case). All your other WRs either aren't worth a 1st or aren't going to help a team who's competing. I just don't see a deal that can be made, but I also don't know what the teams in your league look like. Put it out there that you're looking to move a WR or two for a 1st and see what offers you get.

In a 10 team league with a max of 3 WRs you can start, none of your non obvious WRs are worth a 1st. All of them combined aren't worth a 1st as they wouldn't help contending teams nor do they have the upside for rebuilding teams.

What are you targeting with the first? (if you get it?)

Watkins, Gordon, and a 2 would be my first offer.
