Are we getting at all nervous yet? This is how I see things...he missed a bunch of time so it's going to take him a while to get in a groove. He hasn't made a solid connection with Mariota yet, but has shown glipses. The fumble at the goal line hurt him pretty bad last week. Would have been another 8-9 points. At this point, he is almost considered a stash until 2018.

Is this guy going to pan out or would you trade away for immediate production (Brandin Cooks or Adam Thelien+)?

He has only played 4 career games, not including the one he left early.. 2 of those he had 10 targets.. he's still very much a rookie. im playing him as my WR4, but very excited about his future. he shows signs of being special. He and mariota will get on the same page. The offseason will probably help a great deal.

Definitely no need to freak out, although to the OP, if you can get Cooks straight up or Thielen+, I might do that. In that case, you're not selling low.

Davis is a hold until next year. He's been out with a hamstring injury, maybe he's still a half step slow and can't get the separation he needs? I'm hoping its just the rhythm with Mariota isn't there yet.

Also keep in mind that he's faced 3 of the top pass defenses in the league since he's been back (all top 6 against WR, I believe). That's a tough run for any receiver, let alone a rookie who's missed all the time he has this year

Sometimes you can just tell when I player has something special when you watch him on the field. I see it in this guy just like I did with Dalvin Cook. Both have been disappointments due to injury but they are keepers as far as I'm concerned. More of a concern for Davis is the fact that I dont see Mariota progressing the way I had hoped this year. Anyways, I would not trade him.

I think about how much time he’s missed, and I feel really encouraged that he’s playing even as well as he has. No Ota work, barely any preseason, and missed games during the season. Give him an off-season to acclimate and assimilate, and you’ll really start to see his true value. I wouldn’t sell this early.

Why would you be nervous? He was injured and just got back. If he is still performing like this this time next year, then you should begin to worry

If the Davis owner sent me a offer for Thielan+ I would laugh at him. He is producing as a top 5 WR and I can’t see Davis doing that for a long time with Mariota. I agree with the guy who said he is disappointed in Mariota’s developement. I don’t want to compare Davis to OBJ but when Odell came back from a hamstring injury his rookie year he was dominant!
