Trying to guarantee the 1.01

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

When is your trade deadline? Still seems to be a lot of weeks left that could impact records and points.

I guess worst case scenario and this pick turns into 1.03 and your pick becomes 1.02 then you'd have enough draft capital to move to 1.01.

There was a similar argument last year about Cooks being worth 1.01. I don't see it.

Both players have proven they can play in the NFL at a high level. Henry just needs the touches to be consistent fantasy option. Who ever you get in that range will have to prove they can compete in the NFL. So Henry is equal to the pick you get because it is currently a 1.02. Cooks is worth more then Mathews(Junk) Ross (Bust??) 2019 2nd. So that is a lose right there but now add the fact he gets a late 2018 1st for free. It is a heck no. If you want his first tell him Henry for it straight up or at most add a late 2nd or 2019 2nd. I think it is an overpay but so be it if you like Barkley more and want to put your self in best position to land him.
Brandin cooks worth the 1.01??? Give me the 1.01.

He is 24 year old WR who has shown he can be great in the NFL. This is a down year and he is still the 16th WR. He has 2 WR1 years and now a high WR2 all while only being 24. So yes I will take a proven 24 year WR1 vs a hope that Barkley is the next Elliot.

Trade deadline is the saturday before week 13 sunday slate. I'm nervous, got to hold a 30 point reverse lead for 3 more weeks. In another league my 50 point reverse lead has been whittled to 32 points, and there's not much if anything I can do to put myself in better position. In that league I tried to deal for the guys pick he had acquired that was and is at 1.02 and he demanded a top 15-20 core level overall start up caliber player off my roster to do it, or a core guy+picks (guys like OBJR, Robinson, Allen, Corey Davis, Dalvin Cook), and I just wouldn't do that, so instead I decided to try to pick off talent from the guy whose pick i own and is currently at 1.01, and trade players to the guy whose currently 1.02. Oddly, I am wondering if the other owner realizes that it's potential points, rather than record, which determines draft slotting because in his trade rejection, he said, he wants a top 15-20 player for a pick that's likely to be 1.01 (at the time and currently several weeks later, the pick I acquired is still locked in at 1.01, by I think 32 points or so, and he was speaking with a lot of certainty when he said that, plus later he traded to acquire Julio Jones from the team whose pick I own that is currently 1.01 thus weakening the team further to give me a better chance. Seems like the actions of someone who doesn't realize what he's doing is actually giving me rather than him a better chance at the 1.01).
