Tyrod Taylor Benching

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Tyrod Taylor Benching

Postby abajaba » Wed Nov 15, 2017 8:18 am

With Taylor getting benched what is my move?
Team in Sig we start 2 QB I won last year and with a 9-1 record along with scoring 250 more than everyone else I am in the drivers seat for another Championship run. We only get 5 free agent adds during the season and I am out of mine. I only have a 2018 4th but all 4 rounds of my 2019 rookie picks. Should I try and trade a late round draft pick for someone to pick up McCown/Brissett so I have depth in case Cousins or Eli get hurt/benched, yes we allow that move. Or do I trade a higher round pick or some of my depth for a better/younger QB? Or do I sit still and pray to the fantasy gods that my 2 QBs play the next 6 weeks, our playoffs end in week 16?

Thank you for any recommendations or guidance

Just ride it out with Eli and Cousins. I just don't see people trading McCown and Brissett for late fourths in a to quarterback league.

Only options would be Cutler/Big Ben which I don't like for ARob's value or Brees/Russell Wilson who's match ups for our playoffs (weeks 13-16) are not worth it in my eyes. I think ARob is awesome and will be going to a better situation next year

If you can get Wilson for Arob I would do that. Helps for Future too. He is way better then Eli.

If you can get any starting QB for a 3rd, you need to do it.

If the Wilson owner is dumb enough to make this trade, you should take it and run all the way to the championship.

Just looked into it a little more. Brees and Wilson are his only starting QBs so I am reaching out trying to get McCown for a 2019 3rd.

My only reaction to the benching is the Bills just killed their chances at a run into the post season... Hopefully Cleveland snags him up this off season.

I couldn't get McCown for a third when he was a guy's QB4 in a superflex, so if you can get him for a third in a true 2QB I think you need to do it.
