Leaning ajayi because he will likely be cheaper and is in a better situation, but I prefer mixon as a player.

Well, you were citing a very specific case in which I presumed you thought the going rate for most was more than a random 1st. But to answer your specific question, no I would not. I sold him for a random 1st before the season started albeit to a team which I assumed would have a very early pick.

Give me Mixon all day and I don't even love mixon as much as some people on here. I wouldn't trade a random first for Ajayi personally. Ajayi continues to struggle and I would much rather get a young guy next year that could take over a backfield and be effective with 10-15 touches compared to Ajayi's ineffective 20-25 touches. I see guys come out each year that go late first or 2nd round that I would take over Ajayi all day. Spend the extra for mixon and don't look back.

I would have a hard time paying a first for Ajayi. If he's really supposed to be that good, the numbers have to be there and they aren't. That said, I definitely won't pay 2+ firsts for Mixon. That would be a reasonable price for other RBs that came out this season like Fournette and Hunt. Maybe even Cook. I couldn't justify that for Mixon right now. I tend to be a conservative trader by nature. I don't like to over speculate and pay upside prices. If the firsts were late picks, I could see that. But not early ones
