Known (?) vs Unknown

Not sure Dalvin Cook qualifies as known, but he did look good...which side you like:

DHop/1.01 (guaranteed)

M Evans/D Cook/1.10-1.12

Evans side. I like Hopkins, but Evans is worth more right now. Barkley should be a stud, but so is Cook and you're getting another 1st on top.

Not sure why it's easily Evans and cook. Hopkins is outscoring Evans right now by 30 pts in ppr leagues. I know his TD production will likely slow down but he's the main pass catcher in that offense with a good young qb. Evans, even though the top dog in that offense, has lots of competition. Cook is a stud but has battled injuries throughout his career. I feel the 1.01 will hold more value/equal value than cook and a late 1st when the time comes to draft.I feel this decision is more a tossup than an easy decision and I'm leaning towards the Hopkins side. if you're the one trading for hopkins maybe your league mate feels the same as the these other guys and you can lower your offer to a 2nd

Not sure what others might say but here it goes from my perspective:
It's Dynasty.
Hopkins is scoring more right now but that's not what's expected long term.
Fuller, Foreman, and more incoming players will/already offering competition for Hopkins. Add too that Watson's start not likely to continue once teams get tape to analyze.
ALL RBs battle injuries.
1.01 more value. Maybe, but it's still an unknown. We know what Cook can do in MIN offense, and it was really nice.

X2. I like Hopkins more than most though. I would prefer the Evans side but not as easily as everyone else is saying.

Not arguing opinions, just curious the breakdown:

Is it more Evans >> DHop, or Cook/1.10-1.12 >> 1.01?

In ppr, the gap isn't that big from Hopkins to Evans. Next august, I believe 1.1 will be more valuable than cook. So the deal is fairly close in my mind

WR: Hopkins, OBJ, Evans, MVS, JJAW, Trequan Smith, Reynolds
TE: Ertz, Herndon
Def: Steelers, Browns

Same here. I prefer Evan slightly to Nuk, and I prefer the 1.01 slightly to Cook, so to me, the late 1st is primarily what sways me to the Evans side.

All things being equal right now I'm taking the Nuk side. I'd need to see Cook back from the ACL injury at full speed to make this deal. It's not a guarantee that's he's the same Dalvin he was before.

Evans>Nuk (slightly)
Cook<=1.01
Late 1st>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> nothing

I think the difference between Evans and Nuk is not that much, but Evans is worth more.

Cook looked like a stud, but it's tough to know how he'll come back after an ACL.

The late 1st for free sways me to the Evans side. If you take it out, I see this as a very even trade. (Depending on how you view barkley)

Agree with others that I'd take the Evans side, but it's close. I suppose it comes down to what you think of Saquon Barkley and if he's the next Le'Veon Bell. It's a gamble though. Barkley with Shanahan on the 49ers? Oh yeah. Barkley on the Browns...talent > situation but ew definitely not as pleasant to think about.
