OBJ or 1.1 and Corey Davis

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

OBJ or 1.1 and Corey Davis

Postby flashgordon12 » Fri Oct 20, 2017 1:53 pm

I'm in total rebuild, just trying to make sure I'm not crazy. Superflex league, only players of value are Trubisky, Mixon, Cohen, OBJ, TY, Cobb (?), Engram, and Eifert. Would it be wise to trade OBJ for what will probably be Barkley and Corey Davis. I feel like that's really light for him but I just want to make sure. Barkley does get a lot of love, and deservedly so.

It's a start, but no. If CD hadn't been hurt most of the season and were performing then maybe but I could not trade a top proven asset for some (very talented) rooks

Not a bad offer at all, but I'd stick with OBJ.

I agree. Add a bit to the 1.1 side...maybe some proven talent...and then might be worth considering.

No way should you let OBJ go for an unproven WR on a unproven offense, with a up and down, typically hurt QB, and a possible first overall pick which is likely another unproven player with very high upside. You need to be getting multiple proven assets and high ceiling guys for basically the best or second best WR the last 3 years. And he's still very young. He will return to form. I'd want a top end RB and a high end/high potential WR and a pick. Or else id be keeping that stud muffin.

I’d rather have 1.1 and CD. 1.1 is going to be outreagously valued as usual. Corey Davis should develop into a stud. Idk, I traded Evans for CD a 2018 top 3 pick and a 2nd and I’m a contender. I also am a Corey Davis truther and just love him as a person and a player.

Depending on the team makeup is if you make this trade or not, value isnt bad on either side. I believe in Corey Davis and SaQuon Barkley will be the real deal and I truly believe that. This trade comes down to your belief with Davis

I love the possibility of Barkley (and am a big fan of Davis) but we're a long way from the draft still. Feels like the 1.01 side is missing a piece to me.

I'd rather have Barkley and Davis, but I wouldn't argue holding OBJ

Agree with many of the others. If Davis had acted like he was from the 2014 draft class and started off his rookie year with a bang, or even a solid performance, I could see it. But now I need to see him develop before he carries that kind of value.

I think it's close. Add another 1st or prospect and I could see letting OBJ go for that.
