The counter is better than your proposal.

As an aside, next time clarify that you are considering making an offer vs receiving one. It sounded like this was a proposed trade. Not calling you out specifically, just seeing a lot of this lately...
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

Sorry, I misspoke. He offered originally, then cancelled it yesterday afternoon, and reoffered with that
