Fair value for Dak?

Fair value for Dak?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to spread out some of the talent on my team as I'm loaded at QB and this is just a 1 QB league, although with a slight scoring premium than normal. I have an offer to send Dak and a 5th rd for a late 2018 1st. This is for the IDP PPR league in my sig. I have a hard time gauging QB value, so hoping to get your thoughts on this.

My gut reaction is that it's hard to get "fair" value for QB's as it's not a scarce position generally, but this is still a bit light for Dak, but that I would do this for Kirk instead. Thanks!

If you can get a 1st for a QB in a 1QB league take it and run.

Hmm I agree, just lukewarm towards the idea of Dak putting up big numbers for the next decade and I get a late 1st that might not amount to anything. He's just 24 and is already really productive. Hope people can convince me in either direction.

I think it’s the right value, but I really like Dak so I might try to move Cousins for a 2nd first.

I'd say it's fair, pick who you want to keep more between cousins and dak and you should be able to sell the other for a late 1st

Keep Dak, good young QBs are worth more than a late 1st, even in a 1QB league.

Yeah I can see both sides here. I'd definitely rather trade Cousins as he's about the same age as Luck. QB's in this scoring setup get a few more pts per game than standard, so over time that's a lot of pts to be gambling for an unknown rookie. I'm still on the fence about Dak but I'd do the 1st for Cousins and a later pick.

I think Dak is your best QB. Everyone loves Luck but lets be real. Dak is on pace to string two top 5 QB seasons together to begin his career.

Maybe move a QB for an RB rather than a gamble pick. Other thought.
