Ajayi+ for Cook?

My team currently sits in 3rd (also 3rd in points) but the injuries are really starting to add up and I'm iffy on whether or not my team has a real shot this year. I like Cook and think now may be the time to make a move if I ever want a shot at him. The Cook owner is currently in 1st but with Cook and Carson both gone his RBs are down to Freeman, Montgomery, Gillislee, Ellington.

I was considering just offering Ajayi for Cook straight up.

Thoughts? Does it make sense for my team? For his?

ETA: You guys were right, I offered and he said he is interested but wants a little more. What should I be looking to add with Ajayi that's not taking things to far, while taking into account this is already going to hurt my chances this year.

i doubt that the owner will sell for ajayi straight up....i know, i wouldn't

Id definitely make a deal like that. Think youll have to add yo ajayi almost assuredly.

Makes sense for both teams if you think you're out of contention, but you might have to add more to your side.

We're talking Dalvin Cook? Ajayi + Moncrief might get it done if he's a contender and lost his RB2.

The only thing that scares me about ajayi is those reports of his knees lacking cartelidge. That's a scary prospect for a players whose career expectancy is already short because of his position.

you could try
ajayi and 2nd for cook and 3rd

if you don't want to give up picks, you could try to include charles (talk about getting him more touches, so perhaps that would intrigue the other owner) or white or foreman... i would also not be opposed to sending someone like amendola

I must be missing what some people are seeing in Ajayi. I'm not impressed at all. He's only been productive on high volume, isn't scoring any TDs, and contributes very little as a receiver. His value is much lower than that if Cook. I cannot think anyone is even considering a deal without a first round pick in the mix.

Have you been watching him play, tho, Skip? Ajayi is one of my favorite players in the NFL to watch. He leaves nothing on the field, and constantly turns -2 yard runs into 2 yard runs.

As a Cook owner who is in first place as well. I would need alot more than ajayi. I am lower on Ajayi than most even without the knees that should give out sooner than other rb's. That might be the reason. I just think Cook will be special for a few years. Hurt or not, I'm not even considering selling low.
