Whats a fair offer for Brady?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Whats a fair offer for Brady?

Postby jojo5151 » Wed Oct 18, 2017 8:39 am

for team1 in sig

Really pushing for a QB & wondering what a fair offer for Brady would be. He's now 40 & clearly lost some zip but would rather have him down the stretch than Rivers. What would I have to give up from my roster? Was leaning one of the young QB's Brissett or Beathhard & maybe Crowell or is that too low?

Owner of Brady wanted Cam, DT and 3rd round for Brady and Watkins...

I think that's high and declined (was really just testing the market), but can show you what some people may want. If the owner is still using Brady and is a contender I think you will have to pay a lot, if they aren't starting him every week you may be able to offer a Watkins/ASJ type deal.

Brady is only worth seeking from a rebuilder. If he is on a contending team then they are going to want too much for him in my mind.

I wouldn't pay more than crow and a 2nd but I doubt that does it.

I would think Crowell would be enough for Brady in a 1QB league. I'm not giving up a whole lot to get him for possibly 10 more games.

I tried Crowell but was turned down a couple weeks ago, I might try again to see if he's changed his mind. His records currently at 2-4

Crowell just isn't doing enough this year. I would reject Crowell as an offer as fast as I could. Brady may be 40, but he's still putting up good numbers. No need to move him honestly.

My latest offer of Brissett, Crowell & Tyrell Wlliams has garnered nothing. Don't want top give up Watkins but might need to to grab tommy boy.

Crowell is worth nothing right now. You can't start him, and he doesn't have any upside. His ceiling is low in that offense, and his future job security is who knows with the browns still retooling. He could be out of the league in a year.

If I'm 2-4 and trading Brady I want someone with upside.
Try ASJ+3rd or Godwin +3rd.

Neither of the QBs you are offering would provide me any value, if I'm playing for next year, I know Luck and is back and a guy who I've never heard from out west isn't going to be the face of the 9ers.

Why are you so set on overpaying for Brady? You should be fine streaming Rivers and the rest of those QBs.

Yeah, that's a gross overpay in 1 qb. If I was a contender on need I would be willing to give an early 2nd maybe. Any more than that and I'll just stream someone else.
