Dalvin Cook or Arob

Postby Dynasty19 » Tue Oct 17, 2017 5:15 pm

In my team 1 below, full point PPR league. Someone has offered me Arob for Dalvin Cook. Thoughts? What side would you rather have?

My sig isn’t updated but I now have Dalvin Cook and Melvin Gordon part of my RB

And I no longer have Sammy Watkins as a WR
10 Team - Full PPR
QB - Wentz, Mayfield, Carr
RB - Chubb, Bell, Conner, Lindsay, McKinnon
WR - Adams, OBJ, AJ Brown, McLaurin, Cooks, Crowder, Watkins

I'd go with Cook. I don't think he'll be the super elite level reciever, even if best case scenario Kirk is under center jags for him. Cook can be tremendous and even more valuable in ppr

WR: Hopkins, OBJ, Evans, MVS, JJAW, Trequan Smith, Reynolds

Very close, but I'd lean Arob.

It's super close to me, so much so I'd lean to team need.

Unless GB lets Adams walk and signs Arob in his place, give me Cook, easily.

In a vacuum it's a wash or I may even lean Robinson, but given your team composition I would keep Cook

Edit: I would take ARob

Somehow missed the part about gaining Gordon and losing Sammy

How in hell did you end up with that squad? Especially that RB core. Yikes. I would prob just quit your league if it was for $$. ha.

I love me some cook over Arob. Arob has too many negatives at this point for me. No idea where he goes next year. Not sure he's that great anyhow.

I'm leaning ARob.

WRs like ARob big physical guys don't rely on the lateral movement that can be affected by ligament damage, RBs on the other are constantly making pushes left right and center off those same ligaments on every single play. I also am not sure ARob will be back in JAX next year which is a HUGE bonus to his value.

They're probably close in age as well and WRs tend to play better longer.

I like Cook slightly more than ARob. plus I feel a WR deficit is easier to mask than a RB one.
