2018 2nd for TY Montgomery?

I am desperate for running back help. It is for my 2nd team in my sig. I just traded for Zeke knowing about the suspension of course. I lost this past week because Rodgers got hurt and dropped from 3rd to 6th out of 10 teams. So anyways.....I was offered TY Montgomery for a 2018 2nd. I don't like the idea that much because Rodgers just went down and I wasn't huge on him before.

I don't think TY will get you where you want to be. Jones has proved he could steal that job. Who knows what will happen to that team with Rodgers out.
I think on paper that deal is fine- and I'm not sure your 2nd round pick will get you much better next year... BUT, I know the value of that pick will be worth way more in about 6 months.
I'd hold the pick.

Momtgomery logged four snaps in week 4, missed all of week 5 and only scored 4.1 points splitting time with Jones in week 6, and he’s STILL the overall RB20. Even if he doesn’t ever reclaim the ridiculous 90% snap share he was getting before the injury, he’s still proven that he’s flat-out #goodatfootball and will find a big enough role in that offense to be worthy of RB2/flex consideration.
