I was offered AB and a first round pick for Fournette and a 4th round pick.
That's a great deal for AB but I have no running backs.
Wide receivers last longer than rbs but AB is almost 30 and will have a new QB soon. Do I take the great deal and worry about my running backs later or do I stay put and hope my receivers get healthy/live up to potential as well as Fournette.

I think that is a fair offer... but I don't think its a move you can make unless you are reserved to sucking this year for a top pick next year (hopefully you'd have 2 firsts)

Looks like you could use WR help in addition to RB depth. That said I'd rather be holding Fournette as I attempt to rebuild over AB.

Given your team, I'm guessing you're middle of the road this year? If so I'd probably call it and sell-out hard. What's the likely position of the 1st? If you see no bright future at RB at all, you might be forced to hold. But it's much more likely that you can make some trades to get where you need to be.

AB and a first is definitely a spam accept for me. AB has continued to make something out of nothing and I don't see that changing anytime soon. You can take that first (if you don't see it turning into a stud RB) and flip it for a high end RB2 (Ingram/Hyde/Miller, etc) and have a rock solid deal.

Tough then, sounds like you need to decide if you wanna go hard for the win or look to next year. With that record you might wanna just hold and go hard.

Thank you all for your opinons. I went through with the trade and though I have zero rbs the rest of my team is shaping up. The first rounder is definitely top 4, hopefully ends up a top 2. I was really stuck on this-appreciate the help!

What the. AB+1st regardless of what anybody is trying to do this or next year.

Who cares if it leaves you thin at RB. Use that 1st or a WR that gets pushed down your depth chart after acquiring AB to not be thin at RB

Exactly. You kind of have to accept the deal just for the value. Then work on selling AB & Gronk as you really don't have much shot at contending this year.
