Antonio brown or Leonard Fournette

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I would take AB and look for another RB in the draft. Plus you could possibly move some WR talent in a trade for another solid bench RB. My concern with Fournette would be health if Jacksonville doesnt get a decent QB to take some of the load off. Fournette runs hard and is a beast but that also means he takes a lot of shots.

Unless it's PPC scoring, there's no way I'd add anything to AB; the fact that you got a 1st on top is crazy! And while team needs are all fine and dandy, you can now sell AB for his true worth and recoup any "losses" from moving Fournette

There are few guys that never become available in any league I have been in. Brown is one of those guys. If guys like Brown, Bell, DJ, OBJ or Green come up pull the trigger.

Here's the issue. AB plus a 1st is good value for Fournette. It's better than good, it's a definite win. But acquiring AB in a rebuild is counter productive whereas Fournette is a player to build a grow around AB is a depreciating, albeit elite, asset. Unless you flip AB immediately for another young player(s) you've moved your team backwards.

When rebuilding, accumulating roster value and desirable assets is all that matters in my opinion. The more roster value you have, the easier this to build the roster you want.

This is a clear win for the AB/1st side, as many would argue AB>Fournette alone, and then there is a chance that 1st could be early-mid....

The play here is to take AB/1st and then flip AB for assets that fit the OPs window, whether it be any of the following spitballing ideas:

-AB for an OBJ, Evans
-AB for Cooper/+, Corey Davis/+++, DeAndre Hopkins/+
-AB for Elliot/+, or Gurley/+, David Johnson/+, or even a Dalvin/+++ etc

The net value would be something that is arguably equal to Fournette + a 1st + whatever else you get thrown in on top of your second deal when trading AB away, which likely won't be a small piece. Don't think of it as Fournette for AB doesn't HAVE to stay on your roster once you acquire him. Instead, use it as a way to increase your roster value and then start playing chess with trades while the rest of your league is playing checkers; try to think a few moves ahead in terms of what kind of deals you could make after adding AB+mid 1st to your roster
