Watkins or Hyde? Championship Contender

64 team (4 copies of each player) Superflex, IDP, 1.0 PPR League with 0.25 points per carry. Start 1-2 QB's, 2-4 RB's, and 3-5 WR's.

I was offered Hyde straight up for Watkins. I'm a strong contender and currently the 2nd or 3rd highest scoring team out of 64. I think I can afford to wait on Watkins, but at the same time don't want to miss a shot at a championship. Genuinely torn as I was high on Hyde before the season started and he is currently the #13 overall player including QB's, while Watkins is 365th.

Hyde gives me a better shot this year, but am I selling Sammy short? Or is his potential worth the risk? I know Hyde brings risks of his own, but I do already own Breida.

With .25 ppc, its reasonable, assuming you are a contender and need an RB. In a vacuum, I'd still probably prefer Watkins.

If you're competing this year, or any future year, it's always Hyde. I'd have to clearly win a trade to take on Watkins.

I am contending this year, and primarily worry about the healthy of Hyde and the rumors behind him being placed on the trading block. With that said, I'm pleasantly surprised with the results and responses so far. Thanks guys
