Replace Rodgers with....

Team in signature, I am 6-0 and leading the league in points. I am 100% committed to winning this year, so I need to replace Rodgers.

I picked up Dalton as a bye week fill-in. I do not like his Weeks 15&16 schedule, which makes want to possibly deal for a QB. The following 4 QBs are available and I like their week 15&16 schedules more.

Thoughts on which you'd like to acquire at the listed prices--I don't really care about their usability beyond this year.

Rivers - 2018 3rd&4th
Smith - 2018 2nd and 2019 3rd (his numbers say in a heartbeat--but does his unSmith like number continue all year?)
Stafford - 2018 2nd/3rd--owner is still debating his asking price
Mariota - 2018 2nd

With the prices that are listed I think Rivers is the best buy as you are only giving up a 3/4, that being said if you think Smith continues his numbers then I would probably buy him if you are not a believer then Rivers for me as he is dead even with Stafford and cost less. Or look into C Palmer as he is very close to Rivers/Stafford and may be even cheaper.

Mariota for a 2018 2nd would be my preferred option. Your 2018 2nd should be late given you're 6-0 with a great roster, and Mariota is a young, upcoming QB whose value is on the upswing and could be worth as much as Rodgers in another year or two. The other QBs are declining assets.

That said, Alex Smith probably has the best fantasy playoff schedule (at home all 3 weeks vs OAK, LAC, & MIA), so that's not a bad deal either. I don't see this offense changing much, and their secondary isn't playing great without Eric Berry, so I would expect Smith to need to continue throwing the ball in most games.

Mariota for a 2nd seems pretty cheap, but you have to at least take into account that he gets dinged up a lot and might need a backup plan. I think the Rivers deal is pretty cheap as well.

I'm leaning toward getting both and dumping Dalton, if I can get one of two to take 2019 instead of 2018.

IMO, pick up Hundley and see what he does next week. Minnesota is NOT an easy defense to be thrown into the fire against... Matt Flynn did quite well. No reason to think Hundley won't IMO... Pick him up, kick the tires, and if he's a disaster against the Saints, THEN give up assets for one of these guys... JMO.
