T Hill or C Davis?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Probably Davis longterm but Hill has been producing and that's a risky move even if CD was the consensus top WR this draft.

Definitely Davis long-term, but if you're trying to compete this year, I'd probably hold Hill.

My logic is that Hill may not be a true #1 type. Think P Harvin without the injuries. Davis seems to fit more of the mold of a #1 receiver. Plus, Davis has a solid young QB to work with. If he can stay healthy, Davis' best comp may be Dez.

I know I am in the minority and I do not own either guy anywhere...but I think I would want Hill. He seems to be proving he can be a stud...in PPR, I believe he was a top 5 WR going into this week...? And he hasnt scored less than 8 points in any games all year. He has really grown on me. Again, I know I will be in minority but this guy is in year 2 and producing...long term, I think this is basically what you would hope either guy would be.

I think it's a very fair swap if you prefer Davis. I think they are pretty equal in value and potential.

Damn. No doubt. As a Tyreek owner who is competing this year, I’ve been sitting here for the past 10 minutes trying to decide what I would do if offered this trade, and I really have no idea. On one hand, turning a guy I spent literally nothing on a year ago into a guy who went 1.01 in a bunch of rookie drafts this offseason seems like a no-brainer. But Tyreek just keeps producing. He’s picked up right where he left off last year and is looking more and more like he could be the real deal. I really don’t envy the OP having to make this decision.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

🦬PRIME🦬
QB: Hurts, Howell
RB: Mixon, Jones, Sanders, Dobbins, Akers, Roschon, Dowdle, Kelley
WR: Nuk, Godwin, Cooper, Lockett, Flowers, Chark, Collins, Hollins, Tillman, Tolbert
TE: Hockenson, Chig, Trautman
Taxi: Willis, Z. White, M. Mims, T. Palmer

Hull Awaits
$450 cap, 60 contract years

QB: Lawrence $5/3, Richardson $5/5, Minshew $1/0, Jones $1/0, Heinicke $1/0, Tyrod $1/0
RB: Achane $4/4, Warren $2/4, Roschon $7/5, Dillon $4/1, Hubbard $2/1, Kelley $1/0
WR: Nuk $78/1, MT $25/1, M. Williams $1/0, JSN $21/5, Reed $4/5, Rice $4/5, M. Wilson $2/5
TE: Thomas $1/0, Hill $1/0, Parham $1/0

Not on board with this logic. A healthy Percy Harvin was a backend WR1 with a ton of weekly upside.

I'd say Hill. The majority of concerns for Hill during preseason were related to whether he could handle a WR1 workload facing increased defensive attention. He's receiving no less than 6 targets a game and seemingly thriving in that role. This doesn't even factor the "gadgety" touches he receives each week.

Corey Davis is also not yet a stud. I do have belief that he will be one eventually, but Tyreek is already proving that he is one and is only 23.

As an added perspective, do you think Corey Davis will have seven 20+ PPR performances by this time next year? Tyreek has accumulated that many since week 8 of last year - let's not forget he's a sophomore with a fairly convincing track record already.

It's a great player comparison to consider. Thanks for asking it!

Valuewise I think this is pretty even but I prefer Hill by a comfortable margin.

T Hill by a bit. We can all name the Kevin White and Josh Doctson's of the world. Winning fantasy football is about winning every year. T Hill can help do that. C Davis may be able to.

For me this probably comes down to whether I'm competing or tanking. In the first case I want Hill, in the second Davis.

I also think Davis is more likely to hold value for longer if he struggles, due to the pedigree and the gadget nature of Hill.

My initial thought is Davis, but lately I have been a little concerned (for no reason really) that Davis' career arc becomes Perriman-esque.

Hill in his 2nd year is just getting going and he is a top 5 WR tbh I can see him being a better Hilton , So give me the guy that is already producing in the NFL over the guy sitting in the trainers room
