So I picked up ASJ two weeks ago because my TEs were horrendous. Since then, he's been getting me through. Is he going to be able to sustain this production, or should I be looking for an upgrade still while his value is high?

I don't see why he wouldn't. They don't really have many other receiving options on that team and they'll probably be playing from behind in most of their games. Even if they're not, he should be the top option in the red zone.

I don't think you can realistically expect him to score a TD every single game, but he's going to be a part of the offense. He was very highly thought of coming into the league.

And the other receiving threat in NY is......Kearse a castoff from Seattle, Robby Anderson? In a ppr league he will continue to get targets, I can easily see 5 catches and 50-60 yards a week for him and a few td's sprinkled in here and there. I'd roll with him.

I’m super high on him. I just traded the likely 14th overall pick in 2018 for him before this weekend and started him over Sammy. As others have mentioned, he’s easily the best receiving option in New York and by all accounts he seems to have turned his private life around. It’s also worth noting that when Gary Barnidge had his lone year of greatness, McCown was the one tossing him the rock. I like ASJ both long- and short-term. He’s only 25. His athleticism and ability were never in question. He just had some maturity issues to work out. I think he’s on the cusp of joining the elite tier of TEs.

Keep ASJ, try to sell Eifert. Back injuries impact the whole body and there's already rumors that this could be worse than a few months of recovery.
