Am I Still In Position To Win

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Am I Still In Position To Win

Postby dmac37 » Mon Oct 16, 2017 9:49 am

I'm undefeated and in first place but my players are dropping like flies. I have lost OBJ, Rodgers ,Eifert, Watkins is on a milk carton, and got rid of ELI as my backup QB. My core group is still young, do I make a move for a QB or pick off of the WW?

Roster in sig, am I still in good shape to win this year?

At this stage I have Goff and Bradford

Available on WW
McCown
Hundley
Cutler
Keenum

What type QB would AD bring in if I was to move him? I hate to do that with no RB depth but at this stage a starting QB may be more important.

I think you still have an outside shot at winning. Anything can happen once you make the playoffs. Our champion last year had a 6-7 regular season record

2012 Silver

Quarterbacks - Lamar Jackson, Philip Rivers, Gardner Minshew II
Running backs - Ezekiel Elliott, David Johnson, James Robinson, Darrell Henderson, Jamal Williams, Matt Breida, Darrel Williams, Frank Gore, Royce Freeman, Tony Pollard
Wide receivers - Odell Beckham, Allen Robinson, Keenan Allen, AJ Green, Denzel Mims, Hunter Renfrow, James Washington, Breshad Perriman

Hunt and Fournette might be able to continue carrying your team, as long as MT and Keenan also keep up their production and not have many games like they did yesterday.

I'd use the QBs on the waiver wire in a heartbeat rather than trade a valuable pick for a stopgap player on a team that may or may not be championship level.

I think Goff can still be serviceable as he has been good up until 2 very tough match ups the last 2 weeks. I'm losing hope that Bradford will come back to week 1 form but there are options on the WW each week.

I'd be looking at a team that is out of it and has some depth at qb. Try and sell off Foreman or someone with future upside for a back up qb.
2015, 2017, 2022 Champ.
10 team, 6 pt all td, ppr, 1.5 te ppr. 30 man roster QB, SF, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, Flex (r/w/t), K, 3 IDP

Qb- Mahomes, Prudy, Baker
RB- S Barkley, Pollard, B Hall, K Herbert, D Foreman, R Johnson, Zeke, J Robinson, Z White, J Wilson(i.r.), J McKinnon, J Mason, J Hill
WR- J Jefferson, Deebo, DJ Moore, OBJ, S Moore, J Jennings, C Austin, Trey Palmer
TE- Andrews, Higbee, Dulchich, Ferguson, D Washington
IDP(3)- P Queen,D Perryman, J Jewell, J Campbell, N Dean (i.r.)
K- E McPherson, Butker

draft picks
2024- 2, 4, 5
2025- 3, 3, 4, 5

I would drop Bradford and pick up Hundley...he will certainly have the weapons to put up numbers. Then I would just play the matchups between Goff and Hundley moving forward. If you wanted to add a 3rd QB to the mix, McCown has also been mostly serviceable this year and I see little reason to carry so many TEs.
